News flash! We have an opening date for our RAMSGATE RESTAURANT, but also another drawback which we hope you might help with. Yes, it's a long way since our planned timeframe in June-July but due to unforeseen circumstances and our desire to make this a success we were forced to delay this until September.

As many of you already know we placed a number of flower planters on the pavement in front of the restaurant to improve the landscape, create a good atmosphere and mark the outside seating area. Unfortunately Kent County Council through Kent Highways has ASKED US TO REMOVE THEM!
We're now asking you our beloved customers to get involved and WRITE to KCC and ask them kindly to allow us to leave the planters where they are as we think they improve the landscape of the area.

Had a meal here last night, and sat out in the garden. Fabulous ambience and great food. The service was very good and they were very accommodating when we wanted to have a longer break until the main course. There was a very large group there last night as well but we didn't feel at all neglected. I am a Canterbury resident and will choose to go here again the next time we are out. Couldn't believe how busy they were on a Tuesday night.

Booked a table for six last night, we were seated in the new extension at the back, which is beautiful. We had the Ala Turka got meze, which were amazing, two was more than enough food for the 6 of us. Various different drinks and desserts were consumed. We couldn't fault the food, the staff were helpful and very friendly. All round excellent.

Been to the Herne Bay restaurant and really enjoyed the meal, Canterbury being nearer to us we tried it, delicious food, friendly helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere, bonus weather was good so ate in the garden. Definitely recommend

As visitors to Canterbury we looked up top restaurants in TripAdvisor and ALaTurka came in the top 10 out of more than 250. Turkish food is high up (if not top) of our favourites list so we made a booking and we were not disappointed. Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend.

4th visit tonight with friends and yet again amazing food with great friendly service. Could not fault the evening. Will keep on coming back and recommending you to everyone I know. My favourite restaurant by far ÔŅĹ x

4 of us went here last night. Had the hot Mezes and the Ala Turka special. Just the right amount of food and the cocktails are really good! Been here multiple times and will go back again.

We did Enjoy our first visit with friends and food but the portion of food on the plate is deserving its quite big, if you are big eater for lunch its good really, you can't have pudding after and friendly stuff also so tasty food yummy recommend x

Food is great can't fault it visiting Canterbury for the first time this place came recommended booked a table for 2 on arrival wanted to stick us in the walkway next to the bar in a stupid small table declined that asked for another got another by the front door bloody freezing as we sit there 3 couples come in and disappear up the back must be more seats strange wasn't offered to us and a table for 2 in the window that goes totally unused must of known we wasn't local

Second time when I am using delivero to order from a la Turka . The first time my fish was perfect and nice but this time the food was disappointing

.. I ordered two portions of calamari with one of them had inside just 5 burned pieces of calari (for 6 pounds ) also no garlic sauce been sent with them ... Be more careful when you prepare your orders...
