Only taxi service I use now. Very reliable and I'm usually only waiting a couple of mins for a taxi. The staff on the phones are always polite and helpful and remember who I am so usually know where I am and where I need to go straight away. Great customer service.

Very efficient service arrived well before the booked time. Driver was polite and the fare was fair for the distance. Will most certainly use again no doubt!

Very professional, always on time, the app is a life saver if you don't have it i recommend you download it as you can see where and when your taxi is going to arrive. I'd never use anyone else!

Terrible customer services and frankly liars! I ordered a taxi and the driver arrived an hour late. I called 5 times to ask where the driver was and each time the phone operator would say he is 5mins away. I do not recommend this taxi company. They are inefficient and untrustworthy! For anyone who is looking for an alternative, I've had better and professional services from Village Cars who are also based in Derbyshire. 🙂

Slick webpage made it easy to book a taxi online (a day in advance). However, the taxi did not turn up...... After giving them 15 minutes, I rang them - only to be informed that they had cancelled the job, without them even contacting me. They re-issued a new taxi (without an apology) which led to significant delays. The driver appeared to have poor knowledge of the area, and wasn't even using a satnav. I would not recommend this taxi company.

On behalf of Mr&Mrs wigley I would like to thank all the drivers that have helped myself & my husband over the past few weeks...my husband especially needs help getting into & out of cars which you all do & also helping me with shopping bags....you always arrive on time can not thank you all enough....

Very proffessional service. Love how I can pay from my phone app instead of having to have cash on me (which I never do!) Driver's are really friendly and the cars are nice and clean. Couldn't ask more from a taxi service!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had to ask the taxi driver to slow down 3 times due to doing 80 down country lanes with dangerous bends in the dark. I felt physically sick. He then was reving the car up close to the car in front to move, got impatient and tried to overtake not aware that there was a lorry on the other side so slammed breaks on and swerved back. Then after the lorry passed he then revved to overtake- but we were on a bend!! I got really upset and physically sick and asked him please slow down this is dangerous driving. He laughed and said 'I've been taxi driver for over 20 years' my partner then shouted 'stop the car when you can, we are getting out.' He then stopped the car passing a crossroads and expected us to get out on a busy crossroads in the dark. Then demanded £45 extra even though we had prepaid. Absolute nut job, this company should be ashamed.

Have used the taxi for years. Usually the service is nice and efficient on some occasions like today an abrupt customer service. Am sure it depends on a taxi controller though. No waiting time given, just hung up the phone. The cab driver didn't call/texted until I called back the booking. A lady controller was however nice.
Have also experienced late arrival with no notice of the driver running late. Nearly missed a train.
Also the cab drivers tend to refer to women as love and huny. Unprofessional familiarity.
The prices are good.

After coming out of a night clubs I was reused to enter ( apparently this was a different story and shouldn't alter this review at all, please keep mind) i had asked to go back to Sir Peter Alton Court from Friar Gate I'm which the can driver exclaimed " Sir Peter Alton, it only round the corner" well, yeah , but I'm on my own, why should it matter, I'm Giving you money. He kept exclaiming this until I said "if you want me to, I can get out this cab" in which of course, he did. When I arrived, the cab came to 3.40 and I paid with 5 pound more in which when I got out, the cab driver drove off with. I wouldn't mind this, if the cab driver was nice and concerned rather than question a young girl why she is getting a cab even though she could be in harm's way. Absolutely appalled. Hope this cab company sorts it's self out or gets sued.

iv been using albatross cars for the past 5 years now and it has been the best experienced taxi firm that i have used very reliable and helpful my family and friends also use this taxi company and had no problems.

Lost my phone and wallet in the vehicle gave them a call, spoke to magament who were very compliant & got my belongings dropped of to me with in half hour! Highly recommend this company very reliable & honest. Great customer service
