Went there last night first time for many years . Service was great plenty of food and tasted great . Will definitely be back

We enjoyed our meal here last week. The staff were really helpful at letting us know what options could be gluten free. The food was really tasty. We will be back again.

Probably some of the best food I’ve had! Visited with 4 friends and we all picked the set meal. Starter came quickly and hot even though every table was full. Duck was lovely and they were even happy to bring us more pancakes. Mains were also lovely and for 5 big lads we struggled to finish it. We were even given free Irish coffees at the end. All in all a great night!

Not for the first time I booked the private room for our special family function.

The decor is supub and adds to the general ambience and atmosphere .



We have been eating at Alberts for over 30 years in which time we have seen the restaurant evolve and improve to what it is today.



Last night the foood was superb.

Well presented , hot , freshly cooked and delicious.

As good a meal as we have ever had there .

The food arrived quickly on request.



The staff were polite, attentive and very helpful.

They deserve a thank you for how they looked after us again.

And we did!



Albert came out a couple of times to greet an old friend as he does most clients ...

Never had a problem. Visited from Sheffield many times. Albert and staff cannot do enough for you. If you’re in or around Boston, visit this restaurant!!

Had my sisters 50th there last night and what can I say? As always the food was first class and plentiful. Service was extremely efficient and Albert is the best host around.

Personally I have been a customer since the seventies and this is the reason why.

Had a superb meal here tonight. I'd rate it as one of the best if not THE best I've ever had and I've eaten in most of Manchester's China Town restaurants. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful (we had a large wheelchair to get in and out), nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Great food and a really fantastic atmosphere which comes from the owner. If it’s a table for two or a table for twenty you have a special night

Can't describe how delicious the set meal is! The king prawns served in half a melon are amazing, and prawns are not normally my first choice. At £16 a head you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommended.

Well after sitting staring at a huge 4ft long spider web waiting for out orders to be taken I was shocked at the level of poor service and poor attitude. We had to get our own drinks from the bar after being lied to saying they were coming on more than one occasion. Starters took ages. Duck took even longer. Our mains were ordered altogether. They didn't come together. We were told we ordered to separate meals as two separate couples. This was not true. We also then got told the waitress told the cook that we said forget about our food. This was untrue. The young inexperienced waiting staff severely messed up for their 'uncle' Albert to come out and boot us out the restaurant for complaining. Been using here for years and never experienced this. Whichever medication Albert is on I suggest his doctor ups the dose asap. Steer clear if you want a 'good' night. Never again Albert never again will you treat me the way you did.

We order from Alberts on a regular basis .. and we normally really enjoy our food. Tonight, not so impressed! Food was hard as if it had been reheated, definitely not freshly cooked. So I rang to make them aware I wasn’t happy; to be told I can’t order from there again and to go elsewhere by the owner. Shocking customer service, not happy!!! Absolutely disgusted and very disappointed!

This place has really gone down hill very poor service there was 20 of us booked in 2weeks before so he new well in advance! We even had to take clear away our own empty glassware from the table tryed to serve us burnt rice ! Meals served up at different times and at the end he showd no remorse just shrug his shoulders thanks for ruining what should have been a great night Albert won't bt going back again

Biggest thing is stop having 16 year olds working for you on shit money and with a high staff turnover. You might be able to run a restaurant then rather than a kindergarten. The young one with messy hair who messed up our order needs sacking. Very rude and aggressive. Not surprised on shit wages and with a boss like that.

Having patronised this restaurant since 1979 my wife and I were apalled at our experience last night. I had asked to go along to celebrate my birthday, When we made the booking we were given a limited time to finish our meal , but thought that 2 hours would be long enough. On arrival we hadn't even got seated before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We made our choice of food, opting to miss a starter. The food arrived promptly, however my wife's meal was cold and the onions undercooked so she picked them out, leaving just a cold curry sauce with 5 prawns in it. ( we paid £7.50 for this) My wife also commented that her napkin was dirty, we did get it changed. As soon as we finished eating someone was there to clear the table. We requested the sweet menu and before that came we were asked if we would like coffee, we said yes please, but usually like coffee after our meal. Our choice of sweets were unavailable , so having already got our coffee we decided to not have a sweet as we would have drank our coffee before it arrived. We were in the restaurant no more than 50 minutes and felt very rushed and unwelcomed. It was overall a bad experience and we went home wishing we hadn't bothered. This has always been a top class establishment, what went wrong?

Booked a table for 20 people for a leaving party and they are now closed that date! Not informed anyone of this even thought we had left contact details. Terrible customer service. Will never recommend or visit again!
