Wonderful afternoon tea! Lovely selection of sandwiches, amazing scones and the cakes/cookies/fudge were all delicious! Good service and definitely one of the best afternoon teas I've had in Thanet!

What a lovely hotel ! From the minute we walked in we felt welcome and right at home . Lovely decor flattering the original features of this lovely building ! We had a huge bedroom facing the sea with a lovely wrap round balcony ! Bathroom was decadent and the bed one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve slept in ! We ate in the restaurant and service and food was excellent . Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back !

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending our friend's 80th birthday. We would highly recommend this place. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the attention to detail sets it apart with an emphasis on quality.

The food is delicious with dishes like scallops and moules mariniere was one of the tastiest we've eaten. You can have afternoon tea and there's a range of delicious home made cakes, beers and wines in a bright, pleasant bar area.

It has a very personal touch and we were made to feel really welcome. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

We loved it!!!! We booked afternoon tea for 9 guests to celebrate our daughters 21st and had a wonderful experience. We returned for my husbands birthday and enjoyed a superb dinner with a table overlooking the harbour. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be dropping by again, a really stylish boutique hotel x

We held our parent 50th wedding anniversary last night in the private dinning room!! The staff are amazing and can not do enough to accommodate your every need!! Food and atmosphere brilliant !!!!

We had afternoon tea, the service was excellent. Quality tea and we enjoyed a plentiful selection of freshly made sandwiches followed by freshly baked scones to die for! Lovely touch to be able to help yourself to a (very large!)slice of cake and/ or bites of chocolate brownie, vanilla fudge or little shortbread biscuits but we were too full!

Will definitely go back, very special treat.

Just home from a fantastic anniversary weekend at Albion house and wouldn't change a bit of it! The staff are wonderful and friendly, nothing seemed too much.



The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and to a high standard, and the ability to bring our puppy with us was part of the reason we booked! The beds are exemplary and my wife and I both had an amazing night's sleep!



The whole hotel is really contemporary and clean, but in a classic and sympathetic style being a listed building. Nice touches include a mix of historic local maps and drawings, alongside contemporary pop art from the likes of Sir Peter Blake.



Dinner and breakfast were both served in the bar / restaurant and they were both fantastic! The sirloin beef was amazing and the cheeseboard is very well stocked. Breakfast menu is extensive and for me was a traditional full English. Everything seemed really fresh and great quality, the eggs especially good!



I must make a point to highlight the cocktails, as the Negroni I had was probably the best ever, and my wife's Amaretto Sour was also perfect!



We both loved or stay and will be back at the first opportunity!

I have been to the Albion house a few times for lunch and dinner and breakfast. Went there for Valentines breakfast had the Crushed avocado on sourdough it was so nice. Their staff are very friendly and look after you very well :) happy customer

Beautifully refurbished old hotel. Very stylish bar and dining room in their restaurant. We were there for a birthday celebration lunch taking over the whole restaurant, and the service and food was first rate. Then we took over most of the bar and the staff were great at keeping everyone happy including the other clientele. The only minor irritation was at breakfast it took an inordinately long time for our food to cone after ordering, and then my order was wrong so by the time my breakfast came my husband had finished his. But, nonetheless the breakfast was excellent when it came.



We stayed in room 4, lovely decor, with a 6' bed, and large en suite. Spotlessly clean. White Company toiletries and posh tea bags and a little cafetière in the room. No closet, but a few coat hangers on a rack. We only stayed one night so that didn't matter to us.



No hotel parking but for £2.50 a day you get a visitor permit to park on the street right outside. It's in a fantastic location, near the town centre and a short walk down steps to the harbourside below.



The staff were superb, each of them was a real pleasure to interact with from the reception, bar, restaurant (often the same folk multi tasking) to the housekeeping staff we met.

An absolute gem! We've stayed before, and will definitely stay again. This sympathetically restored Georgian building overlooking Ramsgate Royal Marina is a real haven: beautifully appointed rooms, elegantly decorated in calm sea-tones overlooking Ramsgate Royal Marina and the town with its splendid Thanet sunsets. High quality bed linens, well designed bathrooms, lots of clever little touches. Excellent restaurant with small but wisely chosen wine list (the best sort) and a smart, atmospheric bar with a wonderful selection of gins (I'm sure the rest is equally good, but I'm only interested in gin). Breakfast is a treat. The atmosphere is friendly; service solicitous but not in-your-face; a perfect place to relax and recharge, eat and drink well and enjoy lovely views. 100% recommendation.

2nd time I've been here, and never fails to deliver High standards, the building is beautiful & rooms are amazing, food and drinks are excellent, and the staff are outstanding not just In there job but are generally all nice and friendly people.

Would recommend to anyone, Will be returning in few months..

Very nice hotel, food was good but the last time we visited we had a better experience with regards to the food. £18 for a three course lunch was good value for money.

May I suggest that you stop serving luch at three o'clock rather than 2.30pm. Overall well recommemded, shame the hotel does not have carpark facilities.

Took my mum and family for a belated Mother's Day afternoon tea at a 3.30pm sitting and were shown to a table set for 5 (the right amount of people in our party) with only 4 chairs... not a good start! We had to ask and re-ask for numerous things throughout our visit but the waiter did seem to be the only one serving so was very busy rushing about. The sandwiches were tasty, the scones nice but small and the self-service cakes were nice enough although the additional plates of what looked like fudge were pretty empty and not restocked. The selection of teas were adequate for our tastes. Would we return? Possibly.

Went yesterday for afternoon tea ,unfortunately we had to firstly ask for milk,then had to ask again for water,then had to ask for jam and cream for scones,then a knife for one of us,all the while empty tables were being set up with these items as standard,the table next to us were brought out there scones before they had been given the sandwiches,it felt quite comedic at times,such a shame as the setting was beautiful

Have to say i was very disappointed with the afternoon tea ..

It was my birthday so my mother treated me ...there 3 of us .we had one plate of sandwiches with 3 rows of finger slices which was one 1 sandwich each ! The the smallest flat looking scone each ..with 1 small jam and 1 small cream between the 3 of us ..when you had to get up and go a choice some cakes.which was a very sad site....either a slice of vic sandwich or lemon drizzle which was dry !! There was afew sad looking biscults and cut strawberries!! Thought they bring a cake stand wth lots of different little cakes...Not what i was expecting... At it cost £14 a head .. Meagre !!... I will not be going back to eat there or recamend it to any one. Poor service for the price ..

Had Sunday lunch there and wouldn't say it was the best. The vegetables were cold and the restaurant was even colder, had to sit in there with my coat on. The back ground music was depressing and dreary. Won't be returning. I expected a lot more for the money that you charge.
