Great service, fantastic food and fab atmosphere. Value for money and a very pleasent pub. 1000 percent recommend and we will most certainly return!! Very happy customers. :-)

We stumbled across the pub on a brief stop in Faversham, and fortunately there was a spare table, and enough choice on menu for two fussy teens. We all did a bit of plate swapping, but menu variety and quality was good. Would recommend.

We are here now and have just finished a beautiful meal. It's NYE the staff are so helpful, helping us choose an ideal red wine with our preferences. The food was tasty and so fresh. Can honestly say the fajitas are amazing. My partner had the slow cooked chilli tacos. Can't say we have had better Mexican. Def got to come here if you come to Faversham... when you opening up in Hastings :)?

I visited for the first time at the weekend for a friend’s birthday meal, was not disappointed! Staff were friendly and helpful, cocktails were lovely and food was delicious! Menu was good and I had trouble choosing as it all looked so good, will definitely return.

I had my 70th Birthday here on 25th February with my children and their husbands, you could not fault the meals and service it was 1st class and very friendly staff . We have been here a few times before and have never been disappointed.

Food was excellent, but like the last reviewer we had a long wait - don't usually mind waiting when you know the food is freshly cooked but we waited over an hour. The place wasn't particularly busy (Tuesday evening) the waitress offered us a free starter because of our wait but then forgot that and it came the same time as our main! They did deduct a small amount from the bill though. Wonder how long we would have waited had it been really busy!!

Eight of us dine at the Albion Taverna last Saturday night 4th November. My husband and I have been there several times, always had good service and good quality food, so we suggested the restaurant for three other couples to join us on a reunion catch up.. They were very impressed with the quality of food served and the staff very friendly with a good knowledge of food. All our friends will be returning when they’re in Faversham next.

Welcoming staff and interesting menu, which suited us all including my 90 yr old Father who enjoyed perfect Ham, Eggs and chips. My vegetarian burrito was delicious. Our order was muddled up but the efficient manager immediately rectified the situation, without any fuss or delay. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Faversham. Lovely setting by the River, would be great place to enjoy a pre dinner cocktail.

I'm a local so I know the Albion and have been eating here on and off for over 13yrs. I've had both good and bad experiences and thankfully the good outweigh the bad. We had a lovely dining experience on this day and the food (boritos) were amazing. The weather was also good and the company (hubby) even bettter. The food is definitely as near to Mexican as you can get and the setting is sublime. Definitely recommend this as a place to eat as an older family, a group, friends of eaithrt sex and couples. Welcome to Faversham and welcome to my world 😋😋😋

As always the food and staff were amazing, unfortunately the time we waited was unacceptable. We'd booked earlier in the week and were disappointed when we arrived that our table had seemingly been taken. No worries they could still fit us in and 15 mins later we were shown to our table. We already knew what we wanted, having been regulars for years so promptly ordered. Our starter arrived 40 mins later! At this point they were still showing people to tables and looking round the restaurant it was apparent a lot of people were still waiting on food. Again we waited an exceptionally long time for our mains. We heard other tables voicing their concerns to staff, they did their best to reassure people that the food wouldn't be long. In my opinion since Shepherd Neame have come on board the Albions high standards have slipped. The food has always been great and the staff very personable and hard working but clearly something is not working! Getting in as many sittings as possible is admirable but this means the patrons are left waiting long periods of time without food. Maybe going forward the management team need to decide what's more important, getting as many people through the door as possible or having less sittings, a smoother service and happier customers!

We booked for our anniversary and what a let down! We were sat down earlier before scheduled as it was pretty empty, We got our drinks quick enough and orders placed. From then on it went downhill on the times it took for starters and mains to be delivered, we waited well over an hour between finishing our starters to receiving our main meals! The fire alarm went off twice whilst we were there too. There was a lack of attention from the waiting staff who were tidying and relaying empty tables (the same tables several times) but ignoring the customers at tables who were waiting for drinks and food. Over 2 nearly 2.5 hours for a sharing starter and 2 main meals for a two people was not on. We won't be visiting any time soon

Very disappointing Christmas meal tonight, we were 6 people who Pre-ordered from the Christmas Menu, one of our party is gluten free. Discussed her needs with restaurant in advance and was advised she could have fajitas or cod which can be made gluten free, she chose fajitas. The main meals were brought out without gluten free tortillas, we advised the staff we had Pre-ordered gluten free, so staff member went away to sort with kitchen. She didn’t reappear so we had to go and ask what was going after about 5 minutes when rest of meal was getting cold, told rather abruptly that there were none available and she was trying to source some from sister restaurant. 5 minutes more passed and staff confirmed none were available. Really disappointing after Pre-ordering meal and staff did not seem very concerned.

Coffee machine was broken so unable to order hot drinks, no Christmas music or atmosphere at all, overall very poor. Will not return.

Really shows it's under different management now. Used to be fantastic but not any more sadly. Ate here on Sunday August 27th having not been in since March and no where near as good as it used to be. No muscles or calamari and the crab has gone from the menu entirely. Such a shame.

In the past have loved eating here, but when I visited yesterday for lunch I found it Terrible. Once we had ordered our drinks we gave the waiter our order. After 20 mins he came back to tell us there was no olives so we couldn't have the starter we ordered. So we were given some bread. With butter that was like concrete. We then had to wait over an hour from when we placed our order to receive our food. When I asked how long it would be I was told the chef isn't in the kitchen today. When we finally got our food it was not good enough to be waiting an hour for and for the prices they ask. The Mexican rice was bland and tasted like microwave rice, there was items missing from my main and where I had already complained the waiting staff were obviously avoiding our table like the plague because not once were we asked how our food was. No apologies were made for the wait. Won't go there again, it is just too much of a long wait more than anything else. The best thing about all this is there were half a dozen tables at the most mainly with only 2 people on. management could learn to smile and have some manners too.
