Albrighton Community Responders are volunteers who respond on behalf of the West Midlands Ambulance Service to attend life threatening emergencies. CFRs are equipped by the ambulance service and give up their time when they are available.

Following a rigorous training programme CFRs are equipped by the ambulance service and give up their time when they are available. The running costs of their scheme have to be self funded by the scheme.

During this very unique and testing time it’s all to easy to forget to have a bit of fun. As well as our physical health it’s vitally important to ensure our metal health is addressed. Keep the mind active and have a bit of fun from time to time.
So, we’ve been doing some Wallace & Gromit style gadget building to help maintain social distancing whilst delivering prescriptions!!!!! 😉
During these unprecedented times we will be assisting the Pharmacy with the delivery of prescriptions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Remember your social distancing.

Here’s a plea from our frontline crews Officialwmas: “Please stop calling 999 for a ‘check over’ to see if you have coronavirus.” That’s not what people are saying when they call 999 but it’s what they’re saying when we get there.
The NHS as a whole and all its services are under immense pressure during these unprecedented times. Please be sensible and help them to help us get through this together.
