Alde Valley Academy

Alde Valley Academy is a secondary school in Leiston, Suffolk.

The academy was previously known as Leiston Community High School and was, for many years a 13 to 18 school. as part of reorganisation of high school education in Suffolk, the school became an 11 to 16 school and rebranded itself as Alde Valley School, reflecting its wide catchment area. On 1st January 2015, Alde Valley School converted to an academy sponsored by the Bright Tribe Trust. In 2019, the academy's sponsors changed to the Waveney Valley AcademiesTrust run by Trust Leader Mr Jeremy Rowe.
Alde Valley Academy's Principal is Daniel Mayhew. The academy was officially rated Good by Ofsted, with Outstanding Behaviour and is one of the top ten highachieving secondary schools in Suffolk.
