Went this Wednesday.. on a whim.. no set plan where to go.. my husband is quite particular as certain foods/too much garlic can make him poorly.. every dish was delicious.. front of house lady was very friendly.. Will definitely go again .. Thank you!

We had a wonderful evening at Aldea to celebrate my sisters Hen weekend in October. We took the package where we made two cocktails and had a selection of tapas food inbetween. The cocktail making experience was excellent, and was made personable and enjoyable by Tom and the rest of the staff downstairs. Food was delicious and the live music was excellent. A superb location and a place we will all remember forever! Thanks guys for making it super special 😊

This amazing 5* restaurant catered our wedding this weekend. Myself and my husband would just like to take the opportunity to thank Tom and his team for an outstanding day of good food and brilliant service. From day one your communications and ideas have been fabulous and we did not hear one bad review from all of our guests! The whole day flowed perfectly without any hiccups! We highly recommend Aldea for any occasion! The food and people are all amazing! Thanks so much!

Really delightful tapas at a reasonable price, service from the young staff very polite and correct with a pleasant manner so nice to come across.

Would recommend to anyone.

Food wine and staff great in the restaurant then toped off with live music from hiding from hazel which was amazing. The guy in charge of the cellar bar needs to cheer up a bit we spent a lot of money and don't think he smiled or spoke to one of us all night even when serving. Maybe it was a one off �

Fantastic staff & fantastic food! Out with a girls last night & planned on going to Meze for a pre booked table, the owner was so disgustingly rude we left before food and went to Aldea for a cocktail. After telling the staff what had happened they went out of their way to help & even though they were extremely busy with a function on they found us a table & provided the most beautiful meal & service. Thank you so much, the staff were amazing & we will be returning very soon xxx

Booked a table on a whim for wedding anniversary dinner. Being big on tapas (Spanish family) we have high expectations and we’re not disappointed at all.



Every dish was exceptional, service was excellent and not even at a high cost.



Definitely the #1 restaurant in the area. Come with an appetite!

Went on Saturday and had a lovely meal. Would have been 5 stars but although I specifically stated I didn't want to sit upstairs, they tried to sit me upstairs and I said I had stated this in my booking which clearly wasn't taken notice of. Also a few of my favourite tapas dishes were no longer on the menu like the meatballs (which did actually still show on the online menu) and the rice balls. If it weren't for these points it would have been a 5 star experience x

Food excellent but wine a bit expensive at £6.20 a glass I thought

Unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Food was very ordinary and quite bland. Service was poor even though it was mid-week and not busy. Wouldn't return.

Really wish I could give better review, but can't! Didn't visit restaurant but cellar bar. Staff need serious training- it's not ok to use your hands to scoop ice for people's drinks! Handfuls of ice used for cocktails and packed into glasses, all with hands. Thought it was a one off, but did it for every drink. Get a scoop! Otherwise, nice atmosphere and good drink selection. Hope to try the restaurant soon.
