CALL OUT: 03/08/18
The team were tasked at 1500hrs alongside Shingle St CRT and Lowestoft & Southwold CRT to search for a missing person.
Whilst the team made their way to scene, it was confirmed by Suffolk Police that the missing person had been found and all Coastguard assets could be stood down.

CALL OUT: 30/07/18
The team were tasked at 12.50hrs alongside Shingle St CRT to the River Alde were a dingy with 2 POB had capsized. The dingy was quickly located with the two casualties ashore. Aldeburgh ILB pumped the dingy out and towed it to a safe haven. The casualties were taken to their home port by the Aldeburgh Coastguard Team.

CALL OUT: 26/07/18
The team were tasked at 13:30hrs alongside Shingle St CRT to Aldeburgh Beach. Reports of two swimmers in difficulty and struggling with tide, approx 300 yards off the beach. Upon arrival swimmers had safely recovered to beach.... A welfare check and safety advice given before teams returning to Stations.

CALL OUT: 25/07/18
The team were tasked at 14:30hrs to assist East of England Ambulance Service between Sizewell gap and the Power Station. A male had been recovered from the water by a member of the public and transferred to Hospital. No further info available.

CALL OUT: 22/07/18
The team were tasked at 16:00hrs alongside Shingle Street CRT to a Rib that had taken on water. After a team search in the area given by the informant the casualty vessel could not be located. The casualty vessel then fired a distress smoke and the vessel was soon spotted by CG Teams and Aldeburgh lifeboat nearly two miles away from the given position. The Aldeburgh lifeboat put a water pump onboard the vessel which was then able to return safely to home p...ort. A great outcome and many thanks to Orford Harbour Master and the National Trust for their help today.

The team were tasked at 12:07hrs alongside Shingle St CRT to locate and check the welfare of a kayaker offshore near Sizewell Power Station. After further investigation the Kayaker was found safe and well offshore at Orfordness.

The team were tasked at 21:30hrs alongside Shingle Street CRT to a vessel aground on the River Ore. Aldeburgh ILB successfully freed the vessel and escorted it to a safe Anchorage.

The team were tasked at 20:14hrs alongside Lowestoft CRT to Southwold Harbour.
A 40ft Yacht with a fouled prop inbound for the Harbour, safely under tow with Southwold Lifeboat. ... After a welfare check of the crew, some safety advice was offered and the correct procedure to call for assistance in this type of situation was explained.
