Hawkes and son covered hole C clarinet having a good seeing to today.

User

Currently servicing a Fossati Oboe, not a name I’ve come across before.

User

Yamaha baritone service and body damage repair.

User

Lorre oboe service , should keep me occupied for a few hours. The player is only 8 years old, so hope it’s well insured for taking to school.

User

Tuba case now with a new wheel on his wagon.

User

A to Ab trill keys, but how often do you need these. Obviously not often as never caught on.

User

A key design I’ve not come across before, is this EJ Albert clarinet made in Brussels. Extra keys to facilitate throat note trills and extra lower joint key for tuning similar to Bass clarinet.

User

Having a practice with the magnetic dent system before I need to use it on more high end brass . It has its uses but it’s not the be all and all tool. Bottom tuba bows with strengthening plate that’s dented would need to be unsoldered, other than that does a reasonable job.

User

One of the rarer make of sax around these parts, the Buffet S2 tenor.

User

Definitely makes speeches listenable

Someone’s never heard of tone hole levelling, safe place to keep your spare cardboard though. #flirkinshnit

User

Servicing of Pennsylvania tenor for a customer who had it recently to another repairer, now to do it properly. This is the 2nd one in two weeks I’ve had to sort that they’ve worked on.

User

On the bench now the chocolate Roo pads have arrived a Selmer mk7 tenor. First time I’ve had a customer ask for brown Roos, but going in beautiful as a lot of time has been spent on keywear and toneholes.

User

Went to Keith with my Selmer tenor for the first time after a drop and a dodgy repair, found him on the Internet, was really impressed with the work he's done, the knowledge he's got and the speed of the work. Really great to find someone who's work and skills I trust, would recommend to anyone and after some bad experiences with repairs in the past will only be going to him from now on. Also, he was very honest about what needed doing and talked me into delaying further work, which makes me trust him even more. Sax feels amazing, thanks Keith! X

User

Very happy with my selmer overhaul - plays like a dream because of Keith's attention to details

User

Took my sax for a service, absolutely sterling job done with it, also a minor repair to my clarinet done in minutes. Highly recommended!

User

Took my flute to Alderson Woodwind for servicing after finding via Google and being impressed with how professional the website looked. As expected Keith did an amazing job my flute is looking and sounding beautiful. It was a bit further to travel for me as I come from Halifax but it was well worth it and I will definitely be taking it there in the future for any repairs or servicing.

User

Speedy, friendly, excellent quality service at fair prices. Would definitely recommend.

User

Repaired my daughter's trumpet after an accidental drop. Brilliant speedy service. Knew when I took it in it was in very capable hands. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

User

Really pleased with the work Keith has done to my trumpets they play so easily now it almost feels like cheating!

User

My trombone had a dint in the slide making in hard to play and it was on a gig day. He sorted it out as soon as he could and got me going again within the day before my gig that night. Then recently helped me out again when my water key broke, keith then sorted me out again. Life saver

User

Keith has fixed all my saxes and done a complete overhaul and repadded my MK 7 tenor sax. He is the best repairer this area and all the work has been top-notch. Thanks again and I would recommend his work to everyone!

User

Keith did a great job on restoring a cornet that hass been in the family for years. I can definitely recommend him.

User

I've known Keith for over 20yrs, and as I'm a pro player he's the only repairer l deal with. He's just serviced my Tenor Sax, absolutely spot on, l recommend all brass and woodwind players either Professional or people playing just for their own pleasure to checkout "Alderson Brass and Woodwind", you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Keith

User

I'm really pleased with the overhaul of my son's euphonium - I just wish I'd bitten the bullet and taken it in ten months earlier. I could have saved myself all that complaining about the sticky second valve and the repeated lectures about cleaning.

User

I was thinking of getting another sax as the last services i had done from Sheffield, left my Alto Dave Guardalla sax un-playable, and un-enjoyable, But as luck would have it i came across Alderson woodwind and brass from Doncaster, i could not believe how great it plays and looks now, all i can say is, if you want,

The Best, go where i went, and forget the rest, Keith Alderson is nice guy and a Craftsman, and i was made to feel welcome, Have a nice Christmas to you and your family Keith, Chris Tompson

User

Generous with his time and experience. Would be my first choice for a sax repair if I was closer to Keith's workshop. I may even send it by courier when needed. Top class guy!

User

First contact Today, job completed whilst I waited, excellent service! Will definitely pass any work that may arise to him again. THANKS!!

User

First class efficient service from Keith. Highly recommended for any instrument service or repair, this guy knows his instruments. Totally trusted him with my 30 year old cornet. We brought this over to him from Dubai during the summer and collected it in perfect condition after it had been dropped. Also Keith serviced it and carried out minor repairs. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Keith

User

Fantastic and efficient service! Always reliable and only does what is necessary. I've had my flute serviced many times and recently taken my son's saxophone in to be looked at - thanks Keith. Highly recommend Anderson Woodwind Repairs.

User

Can't fault the service, quality or value of the repair and service to my partner's trumpet. Brilliant job, and a nice bloke too. Five stars :)

User

Alderson main workshop in Doncaster is THE BEST for any upcoming semi proffesional or professional wind player to have there cherished instruments thoroughly brought back to full working capability.

This last weekend my bass clarinet needed a full service plus unbending of mangled key work and shaving down of a chipped and dented mouth piece. With most repairers this would have been asking too much in one appointment. Kieth you are a star my friend and don't let anyone tell you different.

Thanks to Aldersons repairs everyone i now have a bass that's in better working order than BEFORE it got damaged. That's how thorough and precise Mr Alderson is with his work.

A true craftsmen who tells you straight, and does a cracking flawless job regardless of the scale of what he is faced with.

From myself and my family Thankyou so much Kieth.
