Great product at great prices. Could do with a bigger car park as its getting popular!

I'd rather shop elsewhere for the following reasons:

There are frequent queues to get into the car park.

One of the cashiers, the lady who appears to be aged in her early 60's, with longer dark hair, is extremely rude. I once put a plant on the conveyor belt - mistakenly i admit - but oh her attitude! "Can you get that plant off my counter please." A Matronly approach to customer service is rather dated today!

And now I turn to some of the people who shop here. I've spoken with many people and they have all formed the same opinion - rude. Feeling that it is acceptable to push in and commending themselves for doing so. Barging in front to grab what someone is looking at. A number of older people who have taught their ill manners to the younger generation. My son looked up at me after he'd been pushed aside.

I once joined the checkout queue and had to listen to a man, who appeared to be in his 20's, loudly informing his friend and indeed the rest of the store, of his sexual experience - in graphic detail! God forbid he should ever reproduce as a result of the act.

Now on a good note - many of the staff are pleasant and helpful, they work long hours and cheerfully serve the customers.

The food is priced most competitively and the fresh produce is of a good quality. I am not so keen on their own brand cereals but that is a matter of personal taste.

I live in Wickford but I choose to shop at the Aldi in Pitsea where the car park is larger, I do not have to be served by the rude, matronly person and the customers appear to be far more polite and well mannered - young and old!

Great shop for bargains but only while stocks last other than the food stuff which is priced very competitively.

It is a nice building with quick service and deals in the middle isle. You can whip around and get all your shopping very quickly. The meat is nice with plenty of selection. The sandwiches are a bit over priced. Good deals on some brands aswell as the Aldi brands...

Who can afford not to shop at Aldi . Park,shop, check out all done with courtesy and a smile . Well done as usual thanks.

Good selection of item, refreshed often. Can be left waiting at tills for a while. Parking is sometimes a problem.

Love this shop. Prices really good and quality great. Do most of my shopping here these days. Would love an Aldi in Rayleigh.

Love Aldi! Great value and something new each week. Always busy but queues move quickly.

The staff are always very friendly, and the store is clean and we'll laid out. I like the range of automotive and DIY tools which are available, all of which I have found to be of good quality and value. Food range is good and excellent value. This is our main supermarket choice.

Great value and customsr service

The rise of the budget super market, aldi is pretty unbeatable on price. I really notice how expensive other supermarkets are when I visit elsewhere. I've even grown to love looking at all of the seemingly haphazard collections of goodies for sale in the middle Isles. Air compressors one week, fishing gear and kids toys the next. The down sides to aldi and this particular store; if you're fond of particular branded goods they probably won't have it. Aldi Wickford has an odd shaped and often close to breaking point car park. Which can sometimes mean messing around for a while to get parked. Paying for your shopping; Even with the new green/red LED signs that are meant to show which tills are open or closed there is frequently confusion about where you can pay or which tills are in the process of closing and reopening. If you've popped in just for milk you might find you are queued behind 2 or 3 people with a trolly full. A real shame there are no self serve/basket only/express tills.

What can you say. It's a discount supermarket. I noticed something was the wrong price at the checkout after I paid. The girl told me to get to the back of the line to be refunded! Foods good but run like something out of 1940s Germany. At busy times its a struggle to park in the car park. Make sure you check your receipt before you leave the store😮

Pretty much a standard Aldi. Car park a bit lively on a Saturday morning. Disappointing frozen seafood but fish and charcuterie sections proved fruitful. Tills well managed.
