Aldridge Trimming

Lauren, of our Jaguar department, has re-trimmed these XJ Coupe V12 front door panels and rear side panels. The old panels had definitely seen better days!
The old pockets were stripped down, cleaned and reinforced with fibreglass as they had deteriorated from water damage. New panels were made to replicate the old as they were beyond saving also due to the water damage. Finished off in ivory vinyl with a pale blue piping.

How fast has this year flown by! We wanted to say thank you to all of our customers past and present, for one of our busiest years yet! We've also reached over 800 likes on this page so thank you!
All of our staff will be breaking up for Christmas for a well-deserved break on the 20th of December and we wont be back in the office/workshop until the 2nd of January, so if you're looking to make an order we won't be available between those dates!

This Jaguar XK150 Drop Head Coupe has had a full re-trim in navy blue leather, vinyl and carpet... including a new blue mohair hood! Everything you see (other than the steering wheel) has been re-trimmed in-house back to it's original spec by Pete and Steve of our Service department.

You may or may not know, here at Aldridge Trimming, we also trim a variety of bike seats.
Here is a Yamaha DT125 seat, trimmed in our new CNC Diamond Stitched vinyl with a matching black vinyl border and red top stitching!

This Triumph Stag has had a full black leather re-trim by our Service department team, along with a new black mohair hood to match!

This Ford Cortina MK2 recently had a seat re-trim by Josh of our Ford department, in black with basketweave fabric to match! The fresh interior certainly compliments the stunning paintwork.

This Bentley MK6 2 Door Coupe is allegedly 1 of 2 in the world!
This full leather re-trim consisted of a BMW Bison leather in Natural, Wilton carpet in Cream and brown faux fur over mats (perfect for the winter months).
Our Service Department certainly had their work cut out with this one! The seats previously had covers trimmed on top of covers so they were stripped back to the bare bones... and everything else you see such as the headlining, door panels and carpets were made from scratch!

Here we have our Specialist Trimmer, Pete, fitting the wadding onto a XK150 DHC hood! The Drop Head Coupe is one of the most time consuming hoods to trim, taking Pete 1 weeks labour to complete from start to finish... and that's only if the hood frame and wood are in perfect condition! And, as you can see, he doesn't stop!

This Aston Martin has had a new mohair hood, side-screens, tonneau and envelope in navy blue mohair, created from scratch by Pete in our Service department!

We featured a post about some of our Daimler Dart B Spec trim a few weeks ago... here is the A Spec also in Light Beige. The door panels have a welded pocket which is all made in-house using wood, millboard and vinyl.

This rare Marcos Mantara Spyder has had a new Navy Blue mohair hood fitted by Pete in our Service department! Pete had to make this hood from scratch which is no mean feat as it has to fit flush with the curvature of the bodywork!

This XJS Facelift Convertible has had some TLC and finishing touches that really show off the green accents! Pete has re-trimmed the whole dashboard in green leather, fitted a new British Racing Green carpet set and re-trimmed the seats in cream leather with a contrasting green piping and embossed leaping Jaguar! These little touches really make a difference!

We don't often get to make these Jaguar MK7 trim kits as they're becoming a rarity, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to show you some of the trim!
This mail order trim kit is in the colour Old Red, here we have the door panels, armrest covers, spare wheel cover, D posts, A posts, parcel shelf, rear light panels and B posts! As most Jaguar boot trim is Biscuit coloured as standard, we replicate this within our kit unless stated otherwise!
Everything is made in-house using original patterns... all of the wooden panels such as the door panels, D posts and parcel shelf are cut with our CNC Router and all of the millboard panels are cut using our Laser Cutter... to ensure every panel is the same time after time.

This stunning MG has had a new black mohair hood, envelope and tonneau all made from scratch by Pete of our Service department!
