Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel

Attended a wedding here was absolutely beautiful, went for a spa treatment which was nice. Quite expensive but still nice enough! Very friendly staff

Came here for a spa day. The staff were nice although they didn't quite seem like they were expecting us. The coffee and danishes were very nice. Facilities are nice but it is somewhat annoying that people reserve the very few loungers by putting their towel on them and then disappearing off.

Thought about, wasn't going to write a review because the staff are were superb.
On arrival last Friday shown our room it was very dirty .
carpet not vacuumed bathroom floor not wiped clean windowsill had more greenfly(dead) on them than outside
Told girl at reception she said they were fully booked told her to come and look at room she agreed was not good enough... Hey presto another room appeared.
This was a lot better but needed a dust etc the manageress cleaned this herself it must be stated the manageress was very understanding.
We had a good meal and golf was outstanding on the Saturday.
Sunday my my we were booked on golf at 7:10 the hotel provided some food which was appreciated as we missed breakfast.
At 10:45 we approached the 16th hole in front of the spa empty beer bottles half full glasses broken glasses lay all about from the previous day's wedding.
When we finished at 11:15 I went to the toilet half eaten food and paper towels all over the toilet room shocking at 11:15 on a Sunday this should have been dealt with first thing in the morning.
Other than that we enjoyed it..... Not.

We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding there. The service in all aspects of our stay was excellent. We also had some spa treatments and service here was good too. All staff were friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were clean and we'll prepared.

Gorgeous venue for the wedding. Birds were singing and the sunlight flooded the room as the bride walked down the aisle. Staff very friendly and went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Bar service fast but very premium as you would expect. Golf course looks good and popular.

I attended a spa day which was very plesent. The facilities were busy and aren't massive but we're good - nice warm hot tub and clean sauna and steam room. There is some seating by the pool and the pool area was warm. Robes, slippers and towels were included. I had a brilliant massage and lunch was nice. They are lacking in 'lounge' areas, and it's a bit tired in places but all in all nice facilities for the price point

Very out of town in a good way. Food was nice and friendly staff. Room was comfortable, clean and modern.

The staff are excellent. So helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was beautifully appointed. It was a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Just what we were looking for.

I went for my Hen do this weekend, had a great time! Food was nice, lovely warm and spacious rooms. I was with a group of 15 of us, the hotel was very accommodating, spa was lovely and their facilities are perfect. We was in the bar but with us being a large group we felt bad to others who were staying, we asked if they had a spare room we could play some hen games in which they sorted out for us no problem. Libby on reception was fantastic, taking photos of us for us, helping my sister get our guests room numbers so she could organise secret surprises for me. She was so lovely and a great attribute to the hotel and spa. thanks for making our stay a real pleasure :)
