We havenŌĆÖt visited AlecŌĆÖs restaurant for years but for our Sons 21st Birthday we thought weŌĆÖd book a family lunch. Well what a lunch: Duck, lobster, crab and scallops for our starters and everyone was pleased with their choices. Monkfish, lobster, steak and skate for mains and what a food and taste bud celebration. For service there was the right balance of attentiveness and space.

This was our 2nd dinning experience at AlecŌĆÖs and almost a year apart and I have to say the experience was just as good as the first. The food was lovely and I have read some of the comments on portion sizes but I felt they were spot on especially the starters it was nice to have a decent portion of squid! Yes to a point I agree that some of the prices are on the heavier side for certain items but overall we had a wonderful evening and would recommend AlecŌĆÖs to anyone that is looking for a special night out.

This was our 1st visit but certainly not our last. The food was amazing couldnt fault starters or mains. If i had to make one criticism is that the cheese board could have more choice of crackers and some celery and grapes to accompany would have been nice. The staff were very attentive and polite. Loved it.

We had a lovely intimate table and the service was just as good as the last time... my husband had the soft shell crab and I had the sticky beef to start..which was absolutely gorgeous!

I then had roasted cod and Martin had monkfish with scallops and prawns... he said it was THE best fish dish he has ever eaten.

We were too full for dessert so we had a couple of cocktails and the last one was on the house for our Anniversary which I thought was a nice touch!

Yes it is on the pricey side (our bill came to ┬Ż180 with the tip) but with this restaurant you do actually get what you pay for and we canŌĆÖt wait to go back!! Thank you AlecŌĆÖs ’┐Į

This is my local in Brentwood been going eversince it opened , i absolutely love it and have taken Many people there to enjoy all the food. Views are beautiful 5 star all round.

The atmosphere was great for a thursday lunch we had a complimentary glass of Pressco .. i had the soft shell crab which was very good and middle skate this was on the set menue .. look forward to the next visit

Just had an amazing dinner for my fianc├®ŌĆÖs 30th he loved the food as did I. One of the best meals we have had and a lovely venue . The only tiny critic was ┬Ż5 for table water but a beautiful meal x

Bit pricey for the a la cartembut worth every penny and the set menu is a very affordable option with a good selection. Will definitely go back. Well done Alec's

Best restaurant we have been to in a while. Service, comfort and general atmosphere was lovely. Staff really take care of you. The food was delicious, we selected from the lunchtime set menu. Aromatic duck salad and smoked salmon for starters, Monk fish, scallops and prawns for main course. Everything was well cooked and beautifully served. We will go back again.

After having a bit of a hiccup with our reservation we were invited back to the restaurant by Ajay. When we arrived the staff were friendly and very welcoming. I have allergies to wheat and gluten and the staff were very informative with what food I could and couldn't have. The food was very enjoyable and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. After our meal we went upstairs for further drinks and a listen to the pianist which was lovely

Went to AlecŌĆÖs last night lovely table staff were great service brilliant but the food was amazing our starter scallops we done so nice and my main the lobster Thermidor was 5* . Thank you jack as well for a nice table too

Our first visit to this restaurant to celebrate our 29th Wedding Anniversary. The food was amazing. The best meal we've had in a very long time. A little disappointed with the restaurant itself. Felt it a little clinical and our table was not at all intimate. We were sat along the side wall with a long sofa, so had other couples sat very close either side! My wine and water glasses were taken away before I had completely finished drinking! There was probably only one small mouthful in each but I wasn't asked if I'd finished! Shame as the food is just the so delicious!

First time visiting had a lunch food was very nice and good quality we had the king prawns and soft shell crab for starters absolutly delicious can't give 5 stars as our cauliflower cheese side was undercooked and my main of monk fish and scallops was drowned in bernaise sauce which really failed to let the fish be the star shame because the fish and scallops were cooked perfectly it was just overwhelmed by the sauce, desserts were fab chocolate fondant highly recommended 80 quid for 3 courses and a glass of prossecco for 2 people felt like really good value staff were very welcoming and attentive and we would definatly go back.

Nice decor and surronding views but i wouldn't rush back.
