I make handmade furniture using traditional methods taught to me by Chris Faulkner (www. chrisfaulkner. co. uk) in south Devon. I have had the ethic of craftsmanship instilled in me during my time learning; I firmly believe that every single piece of work I produce should be of the highest quality. From the choice of the wood to the finish used on the piece, everything should be of the highest level.

I am able to take a client through the whole process from the earliest ideas and design stage through to the making of the piece. I understand that it can be a daunting process trying to work out exactly what you may want in your house, therefore I aim to make it as easy as possible with lots of communication and keep the options as simple as possible. However, if a client has a project with an exact specification then I am more than happy to acommodate their wishes and work with them on it. I also have some small pieces that are available for order.

Sustainability is of great importance to me and as such I will always use FSC certified wood, locally sourced if at all possible. I also have a keen interest in reusing wood rather than seeing it end up in landfill! There is a large amount of wood that can be reused and there are some beautiful pieces of furniture out there, that are a great demonstration of peoples ingenuity and imagination.
