Alex Forsey Photography

Born in Munich I spent my early years hanging out in Music studios as my father was a musician. This was an incredible time for music and meant that I was constantly surrounded by amazingly talented, creative and crazy characters. My interest has always been in art and music but it was in my early teens that I decided i wanted to express myself through photography. I went on to assist photographers Gemma Booth and Ophilia Wynne amongst others before going on to shoot for titles and clients such as Toyota, Ponytail, Volt Cafe, FA (Japan) and Dirty Durty Diary. I'm lucky enough to be able to work in NY and London and when I'm not shooting editorialsI dedicate my time to documenting unusual and not so unusual things that cross my path. My favourite place at the moment is Mexico CIty. It's an amazingly colourful and creative place and also the birth place of Frida Kahlo.
