Alexander Property Research was established in 2002 and aims to provide an independent research service for property fund managers and investors in the UK property market. Since the performance of UK commercial property cannot be viewed in isolation from the performance of the UK economy, Alexander Property Research adopts an an approach that rigorously relates the outlook for the commercial property market to the UK economy and the performance of the major investment asset classes. This relationship is particularly strong on the demand side where there is a well established link between economic growth and property rental growth. Similarly the relative attraction of property as an investment medium cannot be viewed in isolation from the equity and gilt markets.
