Yes it is still November but we are all getting in to the Christmas spirit here so the tree has gone up.

This week we say farewell to our amazing colleague Janet Wright who has been working at the practice for 27 years. She is so modest that she would not allow me to take her photo. Janet has decided now is the right time to retire. We are all very sad to see her leave and she will be sorely missed by everybody. We wish her all the best.

Well done to Michalina for her hard work and dedication , which has been noted with a well deserved star employee of the month award 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

With sad news saying goodbye to Lilia, comes good news. We would like to introduce our new nurses, Kerri Plank and Michalina Kondracka . Kerri is currently training to become a fully fledged qualified nurse and Michalina has been qualified for 3 years .Both have proved to be amazing team players flexible and passionate about their work.

This week we said a sad goodbye to one of our wonderful nurses, Lilia . Happy time for Lilia as she is leaving to start her Maternity leave. We all want to wish Lilia and her family the very best for the future. Congratulations Lilia, stay in touch.. We await your happy news.

It's that time of year again, when our hygienist Caroline Green gets over excited. " It's Crufts"
Caroline is doing Cruft medium agility teams tomorrow at 10.20 with her Cocker Spaniel Rosie.
... Their team is called Whirlwind Platinum (a bit like Caroline this week) Rosie and Caroline will be running 10th on the running order.
We would like to wish Caroline, Rosie and the team all the best for tomorrow at Crufts.

A message for our patients at Alexandra. Now soon, ah, very soon, I know the trumpets of the North will blow. The great winds will come to bring, the white wild riders of the snow. All our staff at Alexandra and I am sure patients too, would like to welcome Aman back on her return from Maternity leave. Aman will be in practice Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.00-4.30.

The practice has some exciting news to share. We would like to welcome Noor Mohammed a qualified Dental Hygienist and therapist who has joined our team at Alexandra Dental . Working on a Friday which will give patients access to a hygienist 5 days a week. Noor qualified with a distinction in clinical dental hygiene at The University of Birmingham in 2015. Noor enjoys traveling and photography and gets involved in charity work in her spare time.

The practice is closed today for staff training between 9-4.30. Please still call the practice if you need to make an appointment or advice .Our Receptionist will be monitoring the messages throughout the day.

To lovely Lyn and Aman and Jo - thank you so much for your care and consideration to me and Michael and the boys as they grew up, I still look forward to visiting the dentist (much to the amazement of my friends) as we always have a chat and a laugh together. Fond memories of Mr Alper, hope he is well. If there were Oscars for your performance, not forgetting the friendly receptionists, you would all be up there on the stage!

My wife hates the dentist but after I took her after an old friend told me about it well after almost 25 we are still going

Many thanks to Andrew for the wonderful dental treatment he gave to our daughter Megan this morning. Having broken off half of her two top teeth on Saturday evening she can smile again! I have attended this dental practice for well over 40 years and can't speak of them highly enough.

To lovely Lyn and Aman and Jo - thank you so much for your care and consideration to me and Michael and the boys as they grew up, I still look forward to visiting the dentist (much to the amazement of my friends) as we always have a chat and a laugh together.
