Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
Make a private place for yourself in this world, because fascinating things will be presented to you. Know them and be on your guard, and do not be harmed by withdrawing from preoccupations while you are among them.

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatu,
Yesterdays sisters circle was like no other.
We began with a presentation about Khadijah bint Khuwailid (May Allaah be pleased with her) and explained that the activity is an attempt for us to walk in her footsteps.
... We divided the girls into teams of 5-6 and they each had to come up with a business plan with Islamic values and pitch their idea to the audience and a panel of judges.
65 GIRLS 13 TEAM ...and ONLY 30 mins to come up with an original business idea! ⏳
Below are some of the ideas that they came up with: - A braille bookstore with audio material for the blind - A moving dawah van (like the bookbus) bringing a positive image of Islam to villages and places where Islam has not been potrayed in a good light - A taxi service with women only drivers and only for women to provide a secure means of transport. ...& many other amazing ideas.
🎁Each member of the winning team had a prize 🎁
The girls surpised us with their business ideas and creativity to implement services to support the ummah. Our goal is to inspire and motivate the future generation to start thinking creatively and ‘outside the box’ whilst always incorporating Islamic values.

O believers! When the call to prayer is made on Friday, then proceed ˹diligently˺ to the remembrance of Allah and leave off ˹your˺ business. That is best for you, if only you knew.
Once the prayer is over, disperse throughout the land and seek the bounty of Allah. And remember Allah often so you may be successful.
Surah al-Jumuah, al-Āyah 9-10

Imam Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله:
"Too much socialising, wishing for things, attachment to others besides Allaah, filling one’s stomach and sleep; these five affairs are amongst the greatest corrupters of the heart.’’
[Uddatus Saabireen: 197]

Sufyaan Ath-Thawree said:
If your friend visits you, do not ask him ‘Have you eaten?’ or ‘Shall I serve you?’ However, you should serve him right away (without asking) and let him eat, and if he does not then you may clear it.
[Ihyaa’ ‘Uloom Ad-Deen of Al-Ghazaalee, 2/12]

“The believing men and believing women are allies to each other. They enjoin good and forbid evil, establish prayer and give charity, and they obey Allah and His messenger. Allah will be merciful to them, for Allah is Almighty and Wise.”
Surat al-Tawbah 9:71

Imām Ibn Rajab
“Waiting for relief patiently [during times of hardship] is a form of worship, for verily the trials never last forever.”
[Majmu Rasa’il ibn Rajab, 3/155]

From the advise of the righteous ones:
Increase in the recitation of the Qurān and do not leave it, for indeed that which you seek will be made easy according to how much you recite.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
After numerous requests... The wait is finally over.
... The eye-opening and thought provoking works of Ibn Rajab *’The Dispraise of the Hardness of the Heart’*
This poem discusses the importance of ensuring that our hearts are free from the shackles of the Dunya.
We are also reminded of the sayings of Maalik ibn Dinaar:
‘A slave has never been punished with anything more severe than the hardness of the heart.’
We seek refuge in Allaah from the hardness of the heart and all that is likened to it. And we ask Allaah azza wajjal to allow us to be firm upon His beautiful and complete religion.
