Alice’s Loft Music is a fully equipped recording studio situated in the heart of Camden, North-west London – just two minutes from Camden tube station.
Alice'S Loft Music Description
Alice’s Loft Music specializes in musical productions and creations of original music and arrangements. Our studio offers a special unique, warm and open environment for music recording and production. Once inside, you will feel as if you are in a lush green forest, contrary to London’s busy environment that surrounds you. It’s like being in another world. The 40-foot ceilings and Canadian white maple floors create a space that produces first class acoustical results – ideal for the ‘live’ recordings of strings, piano, vocals and bands.
The centerpiece of Alice’s Loft is the 7ft 6″ Bluthner concert grand piano. One of the great German pianos, the Bluthner sound is often regarded in a league of its own. This piano features many innovations including their patented Aliquot stringing. It features a 4th string in the treble register which isn’t struck by the hammer but sympathetically vibrates offering a rich, singing tone. It has an incredibly dynamic sound especially in the bass tones, allowing it to sound great within any type of genre, be it jazz, pop, classical or modern styles.

Yesterday i put down some vocals for David Punshons arrangement of Chick Coreas 500 miles high. Working with Denise was a joy ... it was inspirational to try different nuances... on the voice. Denises expert guidance helped make for a pleasurable and enjoyable experience ... Highly recommend �
Alice's Loft Music is a magical wonderful studio to record in. It has a sublime Bluthner Grand Piano which is a delight to play and all the state of the art studio facilities. All of this is housed in a unique space that makes you feel very comfortable and extremely inspired. Named after one of the most enchanting Fairy Tales ever written "Alice in Wonderland", the studio is fittingly situated on Carroll St in Camden. I highly recommend this place to any instrumentalists or singers looking to record! This is a hidden gem on the streets of North London. Check it out!!!
