Back sewing. 2 roman blinds in this striking fabric. As the blind sits round a beam at top, there was some extra work. Looking forward to seeing them up. Now for my next job ...

Sharing the photo of the two roman blinds that were put up just in time for Christmas. With some extra work, these blinds were made to match side by side, even though it was remnant and there was not much fabric to play with. That is the extra attention to detail.

2 roman blinds to fit in a wide window. Pattern matched. Left and right winders. Bonded interlining. Stab stitch finish. Kitty McCall fabric.

Door curtain is finished and hanging. Tricky to photograph. The overall result is a snug door and a picture of velvet that I love looking at very time I pass it. Interlined with antique brass fused metal eyelets hung on a pole that was just about right for the door frame.

Really enjoyed the Home Event at John Lewis Cambridge last night. Cole & Son, Osboure & Little, Swaffer and Designer Guild. A little cava, canapés, goodie bags and a raffle for some special prizes. Recommend if they do it again.

Well is the good weather really over now?
My front door is rather lovely but wooden and draughty, so I think it's time I ventured into a door curtain after 12 years living here.
Will need 2.5 metres of fabric, interlining and eyelets finish. ... Currently browsing for a bargain remnant of something gorgeous on eBay.
