We will taking part in open studios for the first time this year, pop along and see inside our studio. we're have lots of offers, sales items and new workshop dates for 2016. Plus there be cakey goodness!

I have been running Alissia Couture for 6 years now, its been a lot of hard work, blood sweat and tears. Now I'm a mum to the most cutest little girl and want to spend as much time with her as possible. For that reason I have decided to launch a new venture Kineeta - The Little Print Dress Company. Its an online retail shop selling printed ready to wear dresses and accessories, Alissia Couture will become exclusive and take on a very limited number of clients. This means I c...an free up a lot of my time for my family but still do what I love. I have down sized my studio and moved it to the creative, crazy town of Stroud. I will have many things for sale including sample dresses. Thanks to everyone for all your support and hope to see you supporting my new venture.

I have been asked to take part in a shoot with Model Helen Diaz and Photographer Tony Browne. We are looking for an experienced MUA and hair stylist, the MUA needs to have experience with dealing with sensitive/ hooded eyes (she is a contact lens wearer) and Helen has had trouble MUA’s who can’t cope with this. So again its been a looong time since I posted anything! I'm now a proud new mummy to a little munckin and loving it. Next month sees new things happening for me and Alissia Couture, look out for our brand new website launching on Monday 24th August. Dates for September Corset & pattern cutting workshops, new off the peg collection and trialing my new African print dresses at the town hall Cheltenham during Black History month! Super excited! x

Been a while since we've posted, we have been keeping busy with orders and of course cooking a baby. I have just been offered an exciting opportunity and on the look out for any local gloucestershire / costwold based seamstresses that would like some freelance work. If you or anyone is interested please email admin@alissiacouture.com with your CV and portfolio.

I still have a space for another creative to share within my Industrial studio in Gloucester. I willmostly be teaching so will only be in the studio for a few days a week until my maternity leave.

Pattern Cutting Skills: The Skirt Block: 18 hours 6 weeks part-time £432... Pattern cutting skills: The Bodice Block : 20 hours 8 weeks £480 Pattern Cutting skills: The Trouser Block: 18 hours 6 weeks £432 Pattern Cutting skills: The Jacket Block: 18 hours 6 weeks £432
To get the most out of these workshops, the class is kept small with a Min of 2 people and max of 4 people per class. I feel this is the best way to get the max benefit of each workshop, where students can ask questions and work at thier own pace.
Bring your own Machine or hire one from us for £10
What’s included? Tuition, Materials, refreshments/ afternoon tea unless stated otherwise (some course’s will require some materials / equipment) When you book a non-refundable deposit is payable with the remaining due 7 days before the worshop commences.
At £45 per hour we can provide one on one tailored workshops
