Defender 2.4 Head Gasket replacement.
Our customer presented us with his Defender that had overheated and consumed most of its own coolant.
Upon inspection we found that the head gasket had failed. Using Genuine seals, gaskets and bolts where possible, the engine was rebuilt and then tested on our rolling road.

Engine modifications come in the form of our incredible Ultimate Intercooler, our deep and throaty Alive 304 grade stainless steel sports exhaust, ITG air filter and our pitch perfect stage 2 engine recalibration bringing all the hardware together.
Standard power 138/330nm... Alive Tuned 169/445nm 💪
To help this naughty ninety handle it’s extra engine performance, we’ve also installed our very own Eibach/Bilstein comfort suspension with uprated rear sway bar. To polish off this conversion we also installed a full SuperPro suspension bush kit, which pretty much eliminates any play that the original bushes would allow, making for a much more precise drive.

2014 Freelander 2.2 TD4, 150ps on the Alive dyno for some extra punch.
Our customer had his previous 2.0 Freelander TD4 Tuned by Alive, 12 years ago, and was so pleased with it he’s brought its newly acquired replacement for more of the same.
The car needed more performance but without sacrifice to the reliability of the clutch, Manual transmission or fuel economy.
... In standard tune, the engine felt quite flat and didn’t want to pull through the gears. If you look at the yellow torque curves on the graph you’ll see the thin yellow line falls away as the revs climb.
With the Alive performance calibration installed, the thick yellow line holds close to peak torque for much longer and this is clearly visible by the way the red BHP curve smoothly climbs its way up to near on 200bhp!
Perfect tuning with responsible results! 👍

tdv8 and a td5 done now as cars there 1000 miles a part but the remap's couldnt be better no matter what car you will be gob smacked with the result !

Well and truly gobsmacked at how well it performs now. Absolute rocket ship with out a double! Many thanks:)

Very pleased with my Remap by Alive, a very good improvement in the drive and power and feels like factory fresh smoothness only more powerful.

Also got rid of the costly EGR issues.

If your thinking about it go for it.

The best in the industry! All round great team who offer a excellent product and service

Just had my '98 Toyota Celica in for the full comprehensive Dinitrol under seal treatment. Also had a clutch fitted previously... I'm always weary about who I leave my vehicles with, but I always feel confident with Alive. A top class service, no corners cut and a great bunch of staff. Couldn't recommend these guys enough.

Have yet to get my stage 2 tune but from what I hear, and I like word of mouth reccomendatons I've given a well earned 5 * rating I doubt this is a bad move.

Had my Td5 Discovery Series II remapped and the difference is unreal! Will have to go back up soon for a Stage 2 map :D

Had my Discovery 2 TD5 tuned today. New air filter, air flow metre and turbo boost box fitted then had PP3 tune. My land rover has defiantly come alive :) great bunch of guys there, who all really know their stuff. Gary is a wizard in the laptop :) thanks again guys, done an amazing job.

Had my 2008 Freelander Commercial re-mapped yesterday and was very impressed. The difference is very noticeable, pulls all the way through the gears and makes over taking a doddle... Really happy with it and highly recommend... Cheers :-)

Had my 2003 Land Rover Discovery Td5 remapped today at the Donington 4x4 show and what a difference it has made it has turned my truck into a truly amazing drive and I look forward to every journey. I look forward to dealing with you again in the future.
