Hi Everyone,
Sorry I have been quiet on here lately. I just wanted to share with you that on 12th July I was fortunate enough to receive a much needed kidney transplant. Recovery is a slow process with plenty of ups and downs, but I am doing ok and looking forward to feeling so much better than I have for a long time.
So everything remains on track for Alive & V-Dubbin 2019 and the ticket release on Black Friday ( Nov 23rd).

User

The venue was lovely, very picturesque and peaceful, you relaxed as soon as you arrived. The event had a packed programme of entertainment, loved the Space Hopper disco, sadly it was only for children, hahaha.

The band's were fabulous, loads of stalls and shops, around a great layout. Good food stalls, great for families.

First time here and we're looking forward to next year already.

Thanks for a great organised festival, see you next year.

Soooo many legs to lick!

Was a brilliant weekend, great vibe, great music. Made lots of friends.

Tyres had a funny smell on some very shiney cars, waited to pee on an odd looking yellow Mk3 Golf.

Thank you for a great weekend, you guys have worked so very hard, and it shows!

Happy 10th Cakeday to the bestofall show xxxx

Er, I mean Woof! Xx

User

Our first time at the show. We loved it! My son loved it too. The loos were fantastic! Music was great. Woodland walk was awesome too! Toddler area was great, my son LOVED it! Very different from the big show we usually go too, but loved it! Just a couple of suggestions... Music tent in the day - we had a family member playing in there on Sunday. There were hundreds listening outside, but no-one inside due to the lovely weather. The band couldn't see all these people outside, so felt asthough they were playing to no one. Maybe the stage could face outwards for the day time, so both the bands and the people can see one another? And the kids show and shine, Numerous people turned up but left shortly after as their bikes, trikes, pull alongs etc weren't looked at, or voted for etc.

Only downside for me, as a parent of a toddler, stingers and thistles in the camping areas. Super tricky to deal with I know, we ended up spending an hour or so cutting some down but gave up in the end.

User

Omg 1st time at Alive N V-Dubbin and WOW what a fantastic weekend ! Well done guys you smashed it !! Thanks for all my friends for making it special xxx also I won the 1st prize of £200

User

Nice chilled out show. All weekender but we just went Sunday. 40- 60 ? stalls, clothes, auto jumble, craft, star wars costume sociery (of course! Etc.

Large kid ls area we didn't visit but had half pipe, laser shooting thing (big inflatable) and lot more.

About 20 food places around the music tent with big open area to sit listen and relax.

Good balance of vdubs in the show and shine. Beetles, T3, Ghia ( only 2 or 3) all vans bar an Lt and 147. No 181's. Polos and low down golfs and a few caddies and a pick up Was good, may be few mir t25l and few more rats but great. Reckon about 200?

Obviously could always see plenty more in camping and car park we didn't have time for a good snoop.

We had a cloudy morning and very sunny afternoon

User

New to the V Dub festival scene so first visit to this venue. Slick organisation, mega cool machines everywhere you go, superb stands at not rip off prices. Will defo be back next year. Well done to all the organisers

User

My wife and oor wee dug attended this festival for the 1st time and stayed in the quite camping area.

We really enjoyed ourselves and the festival is well organised to the extent that you can’t fault it.

The venue is excellent and I even met the owner who was fixing a water tap.

The toilets were constantly cleaned. Exceptional really.

The crew were happy, great at their job and very friendly.

Plenty of stalls and great choice of food.

Choice of music was great and all bands were superb.

We discovered on Sunday that we had run oor camper battery flat by leaving something plugged in to the cigarette lighter all weekend but the friendly crew sorted oot a jump start as soon as I asked for help.

Great festival and we will be back next year.

Well done to everyone involved in the organisation of this festival.

User

Just got back from this year's festival. Have always loved it at Jimmy's farm so was a bit apprehensive of the new venue. It was better!!!! Fantastic venue, loads more space, great music, cleanest facilities I've ever used, and you even booked sunshine this time!

Honestly, it's the best Alive n VDubbin' we've been to yet. Well done to the entire team who have worked so hard to pull this off.

User

Just got back from this year's Alive &V-Dubbin and have to say that it was the best one yet by far. The venue was fantastic and hats off to the organisers who done an amazing job. The toilets were kept super clean and the amount of stalls and auto jumble was great!

Just got back from an awesome weekend. Fantastic venue, great bands, food and stalls. Very relaxing with a chilled atmosphere.

I need to book now for next year for the exact same spot.

Reallt can't wait for next year to come round. When are tickets on sale?

A big shout out and well done to all who organised this event

User

Great venue and good to see the festival gaining popularity... however it would be even better if the main arena had a bigger stage to see the amazing performers that you have.

User

Fantastic new venue. Way better camping pitches as they were quite a bit further from the music tent than at the old venue. Toilets spotlessly clean even at midnight. Great choice of food & plenty of choice of stalls & autojumble. Great variety of music styles too. Plenty of cars to look at in show & shine this year. Loved the cocktail bar, great addition 🍹

User

Brilliant VW festival. Good music, great food, awesome people! Highly recommend.

User

Amazing time with the family will be there every year now with our mk3

User
