On Saturday 28th July Tom and Sian chose to have their marriage ceremony and reception at Almshoe Bury.
The gazebo was decorated with beautiful flowers and bunting. The families also designed their own bar which was built in the field and topped with a tipi hat to blend in with the tipis that Tom and Sian had chosen for their reception on Almshoe Bury Meadows.
They celebrated with Aperol Spritz as a welcome drink and then the guests chose from wine, spirits, lagers and real a...les by the barrel all served from the custom built bar.
The wedding breakfast was woodfired pizzas and salads provided by The Pizza Project, followed by cakes supplied by friends and family.
The evening buffet of bacon baps and the wedding cheese cake was enjoyed by all the guests before many made their way to their tents where they were staying at the far side of the field.

On Saturday 23rd June 2018 we held our first official wedding here at Almshoe Bury.
The purpose built gazebo in the gardens of the farmhouse looked wonderful and the ceremony was beautiful (as was the bride).
It was then a short walk through the archway onto Almshoe Bury Meadows where the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes admiring the spectacular view over the Hertfordshire countryside.
... The guests then had a lovely relaxing afternoon tea, followed later in the evening by wood fired pizzas cooked in a fantastic old Citroen van.

Another August wedding here at Almshoebury Meadows. It goes to show how different a marquee can look.

August saw us catering for a wedding at the beautiful Walkern Hall. Once again we dodged the showers and the sun shone for Claire and Bobs special day and they enjoyed garden games on the lawn and a BBQ wedding breakfast.

Although the skies were grey when this picture was taken the sun did shine for Heather and Bens wedding here at Almshoebury Meadows in August. Heather and her friends had done such a wonderful job of transforming the tipis in to their own unique wedding venue. A wonderful day was had by all.

September has been a really busy month. We are so lucky to get to work in some lovely places! This month we have celebrated 9th and 90th birthday parties' Golden and Silver Wedding anniversaries - the variety definitely keeps us on our toes.

Had a lovely time catering for a 90th Birthday celebration in Wrestlingworth. We were were lucky with the weather and the setting was beautiful.
