All Saints Church Wittering

Wittering All Saints is part of a group with Barnack, Bainton and Helpston.

Wittering All Saints is a Saxon church built between 950AD and 985AD. . There is a fine example of a Saxon chancel arch and two Norman arches in the North aisle. There are several examples of Saxon long and short quoins both inside and outside the church. An extensive re-ordering in 2010 saw the Victorian knave and chancel pews and pulpit removed allowing the architecture to be better viewed.
