great food, great staff what more could you want

Went to Claudio's for a family meal and loved it!! Found my new favourite restaurant in Stockton. The happy hour rates are great and so are the bambini menus. An added extra is the live musicians playing while you eat which added to the amazing atmosphere. Food arrived in a short length of time and was hot and tasty! Staff are always on hand to assist with anything you require.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to families and even couples as somewhere reasonably priced to eat, tasty food and great atmosphere!!

Visited again tonight, very happy with the service, the staff are very polite and friendly. Food is very tasty and well presented and deserts were delicious. I've been deeply impressed with the new look of restaurant, newly refurbished, atmosphere is very welcoming. Congrats on improvements and keep up the hard work!! Top Italian restaurant!!!!

First time I went here with my partner and children I thought it was fantastic, the food fresh not frozen and was superb and the staff were very polite. We were also impressed becouse not all restraunts cater for children and this restraunt had its own little menu for them and the staff were fantastic with them. Our children absolutely love it here and enjoy the food and when we ask them were they would like to eat they always say with excitement L,Allegria and we al know how children can be fussy. Lovely clean authentic italian restraunt, staff can not fault them and food Is freshly cooked and delicious. Fully recomend.

Brilliant place

Ate here last night there was 12 of us plus a toddler everyone one of us enjoyed our meals meals , we were all fit to bursting as portions sizes are big, filling & we'll worth the money we paid for them. Will definitely be back x

18th birthday celebration last night- it was fantastic! Every single person said that food, service, drinks and overall atmosphere were perfect!

Some of our guests came here for the first time and they were pleasantly surprised by quality of food (and the amount ).

The prices are reasonable, staff very friendly etc.

We have been to claudios a few times now and have previously enjoyed ir but tonight's service was very poor. We have been sat waiting for a main for over an hour when people who came in after we had starters where getting served starters and mains while we where still waiting it isn't acceptable. We had no apology untill after we complained. Not happy at all.

Went for happy hour but when got there the dont do it in december which is fair enough but the bloke who sat us down could of mentioned this. 3 of us went and he sat us on a table with just 2 places set. I asked a member of staff for a extra side plate and cutlry and she didnt understand as she didnt speak a word of english. The food was terrible aswell. Parmo I think had been fried and my pasta had no taste what so ever. Wont be going again unfortunatly.

Me and my wife have been coming to this restaurant for more than 5 years and have often rated it as one of our top restaurant in Teesside. However, the experience I had tonight was one of the most bizarre things that has ever happened to me in a restaurant. We came here for my late birthday celebration and ordered our food. My wife always gets the same dish, the Carbonara because she loves it so much. I ordered the cozze in white wine sauce, which came in the spicy tomato but I didn't really care because both are nice. I ordered the Rib eye steak (rare) for main. When it arrived I noted to the waiter that it was luke warm. He said it would be put back under the grill for longer for me which I did not have a problem with. My wife then noticed a small hair in her pasta, again not much of a problem, as these things happen. The waiter took her dish away and apologised. We sat and waited a few minutes, assuming that the dishes would be redone. Then we started to hear raised voices come from the kitchen followed by another member of staff coming to our table and telling us that the chef would not cook for us and basically wanted us to leave.



In all the years we have been coming to this restaurant, we have never once complained about the food or service, it has always been excellent. But to be treated in this disgusting manner was really upsetting and left us both dumbfounded.

I have now tried 3 times to order from you and each time after its paid you cancel the order I wouldn't recommend to anyone why bother beefing on just eat in the first place stop wasting my time and others and we used to order from you before you changed your name no problem but now our custom is not good enough I will never try again you have lost a customer

Have never been moved to review anywhere before but tonight's attempt at a meal was beyond a joke. Despite having a table booked we had to wait 15 mins to be seated, a question about an allergy took another 15 mins for an answer and the only thing we actually recieved was our drinks and excuses. After an hour we complained again and were offered drinks on the house and told our starters were "minutes away", after another 15 mins with no sign of food or even more drinks we gave up and walked out. Currently in Domino's waiting for take-out almost 2 hours after we wanted to eat tonight.

Dreadful food and rude waitress and boss, was over charged 4.20 for having someone with me for my happy hour! Avoid like the plague. Will be reporting this to office of fair trading, nothing short of false advertising and fraud.
