5 of the 9 league games have been cancelled due to rain including today v Stocksfield. Frustration is an understatement 😑. Any chance of summer arriving?
Unfortunately with the heavy rain and more forecast for the next 24 hours tomorrows allstars, junior match and junior training has been called off.
Today’s u9 cricket festival was a real success with some great weather, excellent cricket played by all the teams and tasty food! Thank you to all the guys working in the kitchen and to the people behind the scenes who organised the festival.

Huge congratulations to Owen Forbes who today has been added to the Northumberland u11 county cricket squad for the summer after a successful trial at Warkworth cricket club today! Owen has become the clubs first ever junior to be selected for the county. The first of many we reckon!
Well done Owen the club are very proud of you. The first step of an exciting journey #allendalecc #juniorcricket
Well done to the U9s who won all their 3 games at the Tynedale cricket festival. The futures bright for the club!
Unfortunately the rain beat us today but there were some outstanding performances with the bat. After loosing Tim Raglan,Tom Scott,Jasper Gray and Andy Mason early we were in trouble at 39-4. But a fantastic 99 partnership between Zeeshan Tahir and Liam Pringle got us to a strong position. Zee made 80 and Liam 33. The fun had only started though as the Scott brothers went berserk! Rhys made his first Allendale 50 of 31 balls including a 6 to reach the mark. Rhys finished 52 ...not out and Oli making 19.
We finished 245-7 before the rain came. Strong team batting performance after a shaky start!
