It's a bit of a late post from us, but we're now announcing that the gates of Allendale are now CLOSED.
Allendale Equestrian Centre will no longer be taking bookings for lessons or hacks.
Thank you to all of our wonderful clients over the years and all of the lifelong friends that we've made along the way.

It has been an amazing ride, and we’re grateful for our amazing clients and friends over the years. Truly, thank you for joining us in Allendale’s years of equitation.

As many of you know we're trying to tidy up our barn quite a bit so it's finally time to get rid of the many saddle that have been locked away over the years.
All saddles have types, colours and sizes written on them. If you want to try them please message us for a collection day.
We are open to offers on most of these saddles.

Ella's first ever dressage today and she got 5th place! . Massive well @ells_c00p ! She did very well considering that her plan had been to ride April to the dressage. Unfortunately we had to change plans after a very cheeky pony situation in the indoor arena practice on Friday. . Having only ridden Hamish twice in the last 6 months she did brilliantly. 🎉🎊🥳... . We'll be hiring out the indoor school for practice to get April well-versed in dressage etiquette for Ella's next outing! 😂 Big thank you to owner, @izzytakis for letting Ella take Hamish today. .

It's been a sad 24 hours here at Allendale. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to one of our dearest and most beloved horses last night.
Yesterday afternoon Ceryn came down with a bad case of colic. At 7pm last night the decision had been made to keep her from suffering. By 7.15pm she had left us.
Ceryn came to us at the age of 5, being a completely out of control wildly Welsh Cob, she matured to the perfect albiet the spooky black beauty we have all grown to love over the ...years.
She taught many young children to ride on lead rein and tested many a competent rider in the sand school.
To say that this little mare will be sorely missed is an understatement. Please find comfort in knowing she had all the best vetinary care available and her last moments were filled with nothing but love.
Forever in our hearts.
Ceryn 3rd March 2000 - 9th December 2018.

THE BARN IS OPEN 🎉
Well what horrible weather eh?
We've been rummaging around in the barn the last couple of days, and if anyone wants to come up today to view any of our second hand tack, rugs etc for sale then please do 😊
... We have cheek pieces, head pieces, brow bands, reins, bits, nosebands, saddles, head collars, girths, grooming kits (new), rugs, boots, hats, travel boots, numnahs and saddle cloths. Along with some other bizarre items we've aquired over the years 😂

These are all collection only from Allendale, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays between 12pm - 1.30pm (12:00-13:30).
... We will be having a bit clear out of our barn, including saddles, bridles, head colours, grooming kits, girths, you name it. The date for this barn sale will be disclosed shortly, please be patient as it's quite the undertaking to catalogue a collection this large 😊.

So who recognises this little lady? . It's hard to believe just a few months ago this mare was hobbling about on three legs. We have a long way to go but Zebedee is finally onto a very slow work regime to bring her back to full fitness. . She's been lunging for the past couple of weeks and today is the first time in 7 years that she's had a rider onboard. ... .
