Allermoor Shetland Pony Stud

Founded by Irene Morris in 1983 with the purchase of her first mare. The stud, near Taunton in Somerset, produces high quality ponies that have been sold both nationally and internationally. We are a small stud, selectively retaining a small number of ponies at any one time.

The name 'Shalatain' is given exclusively to our Allermoor foals born palomino in colour.
We were kindly given permission to use it by the artist Jack Shalatain, who's beautiful portrayal of palominos
in his paintings inspired the use of the name.
