Allison Priestman- Embodied-Relational And Wild Therapist

I work as an Embodied-Relational and Wild Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer, based in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

I am a Counsellor, Body Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer with a strong passion for my work. I have been intensely involved in the world of psychotherapy and group facilitation for over twenty years as both a practitioner and client.

I work in private practice seeing both long and short term clients. In my work I’m especially interested in and excited by the interweaving and overlap between working with embodiment and working with relationship.

In my Supervision work, I work with counsellors, psychotherapists and complementary health practitioners in private practise and voluntary organisations: specialising in working with embodiment and the therapeutic relationship. I offer individual and group supervision to support: one to one work, group work, supervision and training.

I run workshops and training courses on body psychotherapy themes nationally, for organisations and through my own C. P. D. programme. These courses are aimed at providing continual professional development for counsellors, psychotherapists and complementary therapists. I lead the three year, post qualification Embodied-Relational Therapy training, with Nick Totton, Stephen Tame, Kamalamani and Jayne Johnson; this is a residential, modular training.
