Allon Barsam is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon Specialist in Cornea, Cataract and Laser Eye Surgery. He practices in centres of excellence in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and London. He holds a substantive NHS Consultant post at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, a teaching hospital of University College London (UCL), and Honorary Consultant post at the Western Eye Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London. He is an invited member of the research and undergraduate teaching faculty of Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

Mr Barsam is one of only a handful of Consultant Surgeons in the UK who is dual fellowship trained in Cornea, Cataract and Laser Vision Correction. This unique training allows him to tailor specific treatment options to the individual needs of his patients and has inspired him to develop the Clarity Vision System for this purpose.
