He is now looking to retire in 2021 and will be leaving behind a legacy. So it was important to Alan to find the right company to partner with, to continue the Alman Engineering brand and to secure its future. In the summer of 2020, Alan sold the business to Peter Dodd, Managing Director at the Go 2 Engineering Group. Pete is a trained and qualified Mechanical Engineer. His vision is to bring together a group of complementary engineering companies to become a one-stop engineering shop. " We want to be the ‘Go 2' group for anything and everything engineering", says Pete. He acquired Alman Engineering Ltd, firstly because he's a bit of a fan of Alan! Secondly, because he values the craftsmanship and expertise that Alan has delivered on these last 40 years.
