Dog walking and puppy training in Huddersfield

I am a small friendly business based in Huddersfield offering Dog day care.

Dog day care is great for when you have to work or for those occasional days when you can't be there for them.

The dogs are treated as part of our family during their stay and are given a minimum of two long walks as well as playtimes individually, and with their friends.
It is great way to give your dog extra exercise and socialisation.

I have adapted my home to make it easy to have a group of dogs here and we even have a specially designed mud room for them to dry off in after a muddy walk.
I provide comfy beds for them to relax in and toys for supervised play times in our garden.

Most of the walks are done straight from our house as we are fortunate to live right next to woodland and farmers fields.

I believe that an easy fun routine with lots of exercise helps the dogs settle and enjoy their time in day care.

As I only do day care I can adapt the service to fit most dog’s requirements so feel free to call me to have a chat about what you need.

I have had years of experience handling and owning dogs of different breeds and pride myself on being calm and positive at all times. Any training that needs to be done to settle them into day care will be done with rewards and praise.

I also offer day care and training for puppies from 8 weeks old.

Puppies benefit from early socialisation but I keep them to short sessions with individual dogs and build them up to joining the group, my focus is offering consistency with house training and lots of play to keep their minds busy.

I also offer pre- training class training for puppies - this focuses on the first couple of months your puppy joins your family and helps with things like mouthing, house training, brain games and socialisation.

Often a new puppy can cause a bit of chaos when it first joins a family, especially when there are small children so I can also help teach your children how to handle the puppy and get them involved in the training.
Every puppy and owner are different so feel free to call me to have a chat about what help you need.

Puppy training in your home or mine costs £10 per hour and I estimate the initial session will be approx 3 hours with a follow up visit of an hour a week later if needed. There may be an extra charge for travelling if you don’t live in Huddersfield.
Sessions are available on evenings and weekends.

Puppy Day care is £17 per day (until they are old enough to be spayed or castrated then Dog day care applies)

Day care costs £15 per day
