Friday the 21st of June we held a 3 Club Competition playing for the Stewart Shield. 1st John Clark, David Fairbairn, Joe Robson.53 points 2nd Neil Baxter, Andrew Stanton, Jamie Jobson 48 points 3rd Alan Wall, Dickie Campbell, George Gibson. 45 points.
... On Sunday the 23rd we had 24 members playing 36 hole for the Club Championship ( best gross score) and the Lightfoot Shield ( best nett score). Jamie Jobson is our Club Champion, and Karl Taylor won the Lightfoot Shield. Friday the 14th of June. We had a large turn out of members and guest playing for the “Geoff Clark Memorial Cup” An annual event of a 3 Man Texas Scramble Yellow Ball Competition. The winning team this year was Lewis Scott, Adam Scott & Steve Yeadon, Karl Taylors team a close second.
Sunday the 16th of June. Our Midsummer Trophy took place in blustery conditions, with our Club Secretary Ian Simpson taken the top slot ahead of a field of 39 members.... 1st Ian Simpson 79-12= 67 2nd Paul Johnson 74-05=69 (Best Gross) 3rd Steve McKee 76-06=70

Sunday the 9th of June. Karl Taylor had another good weekend taking his second Trophy in seven days. The David Darroch Trophy was up for grabs with 40 members competed for this Cup. 1st Karl Taylor – 40 points. 2nd Steve Lockley – 38 points 3rd Sam Read – 37 points.

Well Done Karl Taylor with a great score 6 points clear of the field.

Saturday the 1st of June we held our Annual Peter Braidford Golf & Auction Charity Day in aid of St Oswalds Hospice. 17 Teams of 4,both members and guests took part, raising £2000. 1st David Inglis, Stephen Inglis, David Weddell, David Storey 58.4 2nd Ian Robertson, Tim Claxon, Michael Douglas, Chis Wass. 58.8. 3rd Andrew Stanton, Steve McKee, Steve Clements, Rob Richie 59.2. A big thank you to all for supporting this event.

Sunday we played for the Centenary Cup with 29 members competing, with John Grigg taking the honours on the last nine holes. 1st John Grigg 73-05= 68. 2nd Ian Inkster 81-13= 68 3rd Andrew Stanton 74-04=70

On Friday Evening we had another different type of competition. A Yellow Ball 3 man team nine hole fun comp. the Winners were. 1st Colin Reid, John Davison & Paul Dixon 66 points. 2nd Stephen Willis, Robbie Willis & Rick Ward. 64 points. 3rd Dickie Campbell, Alan Wall & George Gibson 62 points.

On Friday Evening we held a 3-2-1 Competition, something different for a bit of fun a 3 man team event. The Winners were Jonny Blythe Nigel Davison Brad Barrett. 2nd Place Alan Wall, Dickie Campbell, George Gibson. 3rd Ian Simpson, Geoff Stancliffe, Neil Baxter.

Sunday 12th of May 33 members played for the J&W Brown Trophy, we had the six players separated by only 1 point. 1st Stephen Willis 37 points ( last nine holes) 2nd Darryl Taylor 37 points. 3rd Kevin Potts 36 points ( last nine holes) Other players on 36 points Stuart Johnson, Paul Johnson, & Steve Forman.

On Sunday the 5th of May 31 members competed for the Ron Hill Trophy a Bogey Competition in blustery conditions. It has been a successful weekend for the Johnson Boys winning two competitions since Friday. 1st Stuart Johnson 6up 2nd Paul Johnson 4 up (Last six holes) 3rd George Forman 4 up

Alnmouth Village Golf Results. This week 39 members were playing in the Percy Henderson qualifier for the Top 8 Players to go through to the knockout stages. Congratulations to Megan Forman the Winner of Our Ladies Captains Competition who won on the count back with Olivia Taylor in second place.

On Good Friday 59 members took part in Our Captains Day competition. Congratulations to Ian Ian Stuart Fenwick with a great score of 45 points.

Good Friday Captains Day Tee Times are on our BRS system. Our 2019 Captain Mr John Graham will drive into office at 14:00.

Just a reminder to members!!!! The List for the Men's Captains Day Friday 19th April (Good Friday) is now up in the club house with an option for an AM or PM tee off. The playing order will be a draw and the Captain, John Graham will do the draw on Monday 15th April and all pairings will be put on BRS.
