Alnwick Cricket Club Description
Alnwick is said to be the second-oldest provincial club in England with a proven continuous history. The club currently plays in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League, with two senior league teams. The club also runs an affluent junior system, with teams ranging from U9's to U15's.
All new members are welcome, both senior and junior.

Our 1XI had a wasted journey to Seaton Burn, with the covers being removed a large wet patch greeted the players and the wicket deemed unplayable by the umpires.
The 2XI managed to squeeze a game in with only a few interruptions. However, with only managing to post 97 it was always going to be an uphill struggle as the table toppers maintained their unbeaten season.

Mixed bag on Saturday as our 1XI fell to defeat away at Leadgate. Another impressive performance by stand in skipper Jamie Guy and youngster Cam Nichols. Meanwhile the 2XI won a tight affair at home to Blagdon.
