Brilliant swimming experience, 4 fantastic slides to suit all ages, three great heated pools 2 of which are outside. I can't believe we've been in an outside pool on a freezing cold day in December. I can highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Went during school hours, so it was quiet. Fantastic time, well worth the money. Seems expensive but we would definitely do it again. So much fun and outdoor pool in the winter is just amazing.

Fabulous place to go swimming with the kids. Outdoor pools, slides, wave pool, water factory with levers/pulleys etc. Also a cafe but limited choice of items. Only down side was there is not much seating, especially if it is busy.
During a week holiday we went here 3 times.

We have been 5 times now and after some issues on the first visit it has been very good.

Great pools and well worth a visit I winter as swimming outside under the stars in a nice hot pool is excellent. Kids love it too.

1st class experience a real must for kids and adults alike. A little pricey but then we did have the full place to our selves outdoor pools at a great temperature and crystal clear. Kids play pool and a wave pool. 4 amazing white knuckle slides age and height restrictions. Food is a little pricey don't let it put you off. A wonderful child friendly pub opposite makes up for the food. Visit Scarborough visit Alpamare. £3.60 return from the town centre 10 min bus ride. A real must.

Fabulous outdoor warm swimming pools with water jets, one of the waviest wave pools I've seen, and 4 fun water slides including a four-man inflatable and pitch black version.

You are meant to be 8yo for two of them though and there are height restrictions on the other two so this isn't ideal for very young children. There's also a small splash park with a big tipping bucket and a small slide.

Disappointing that parking has to be paid for, which is unavoidable really given it is slightly out of town.

Great water park, there's 4 slides which are all great fun!

There is a wave pool which is pretty tame to be fair, a kids play area with water all over the place. There's also 2 outdoor heated looks which are amazing!

I think there is room for more attractions, there's not really that much for people who don't like slides, like a rapids run, but it was great fun.

Love it love it love it! I was a bit perplexed by some of the previous comments as this easily gets 5 stars from me.
No, it's not cheap (£60 for a family of 4) and you have to pay £6 to park your car but on the plus side it's really really clean (I've been to similar cheaper venues that are run down and grubby), it's extremely well organised, the queues for the slides are absolutely manageable even for my impatient boys (10 and 7), the wristband payment method is so convenient and the food options are fine provided you don't mind burger, chips, pizza, nuggets etc.
The slides are great fun for adults and kids alike - if you're thinking of bringing your kids and sitting in a rest area don't bother. Bring your costumes, take the plunge with them and have a thoroughly fun filled family day out. I haven't had as much fun as this for months!

Loved it! I'd read some of the more negative reviews before visiting and was a bit concerned about some of the 'safety' comments, we went with our 9 year old and 2 year old and there was certainly enough to keep them both happy! I also didn't have any safety concerns but i guess its the parent's responsibility to watch their own children and if they don't there is a possibility of slipping for the more younger visitors so keep an eye on your own children and you'll have a fab time! Well worth the money and a visit!

We went here on a Friday evening at 5:30pm.

The price for the family was £35 which I thought was good value.

You get a wristband when you arrive which you use for the plentiful (and large) lockers. Plus you can use the wristband to purchase things (food and drink including alcohol).

There were zero queues when we went, so spent lots of time on the slides getting straight on... it would have been good to have a lift for the inflatables. Some kids did struggle with the big four person inflatables.

Everything was clean. Staff were really helpful.

There are two outside pools, one that you get into from inside which is great when cold outside. You are allowed to drink whilst in this outdoor pool.

Another outside pool that you have to walk to is a brown/green colour because of the chemicals that they use in the post is also worth a visit for the experience.

Both outside pools are hot and other look the sea.

There is also a massive wave pool inside which is pretty cool.

Altogether a good time had by parents, a 17 year old and a 9 year old.

Please build a lazy river ride and my wife would have given a 5 too.

It may not have been as good had there been queues.

We have waited nearly a year to go, having heard so many mixed reviews. Firstly, I would say the quality of some of the finishes to the place is poor, you get the feeling it was a rushed finished to open. The iodine pools are AMAZING ! HOWEVER, we did encounter an issue with people taking glasses into the pool. My husband not just once , but twice stood on a pint glass and then a wine glass! Having brought this to the attention of the life guard, he just casually brushed it off. Luckily my husband was not hurt but there was plenty of children playing in the pool. Could have been a different story. Needless to say we were far from impressed. My second issue is the floor surface is dangerously slippery, I witnessed a hand full of people going over just walking from one side to the other. The slides are great, the wave pool, and children area are all fantastic. We paid £18 which allows you a 4 hours stay which is ok. We would go again but certainly would not go in heavy peak season it would just get uncomfortable. Great opportunity to treat ourselves over winter when it is a little less busy.

Heated outdoor pool stole the show! Especially as we went in the evening when it was super quiet, at some points we had the pool all to ourselves. Definitely worth the money, the inside is warm as well and is nice and clean.

User

Took the kids a couple of times, and they didn't want to leave! Four hours was a bit too long for me, but the slides are great and the outside pool is lovely and warm. The place was very clean too. Can't fault it. Will definitely go again.

Firstly the slides are really good I enjoyed them as a young adult and so did my girlfriend and her parents. £19 is a bit steep needs to be about a tenner. But the staff are down right rude and completely incompetent. It got to the point where there was only two 4 man rings which was creating a big queue. Was told by staff that it 'takes hours' to pump one up. We called for the manager who genuinely didn't know his arse from his elbow. Asked us where the hole was to pump it up! To top it off the manager then served one of our group who had a beer and a fruit shoot to be presented by a card reader which said £560! Not the £5.60 it should have been, further proving his inability to manage the incompetent oafs hr is supervising

A good facility, let down by the management and front of house staff.
