We are BUZZING for this show to come to the theatre: '100 Ways to Tie a Shoelace' is here from the 16th April.
A theatrical feast of witty dialogue, puppetry and original music create the surreal world Kat finds herself in, whilst never forgetting the sobering reality of the situation. https://www.facebook.com/events/201263397 8790296/

Everything I know about love, I learned from Brief Encounter. Oh, Fred.
But when it comes to matters of the heart, could it be time for us to move on? Isn’t all that just a bit old fashioned now?
A riotous mash-up of cabaret, theatre show and wedding reception, Odd Encounter asks if the whole idea of finding “The One” was always a bit misguided.
There’s blurred lines and mysteriously shaped vegetables.
There’s Princess Leia and a visitation from Nigella Lawson. There’s trains, tunnels and pure filth.
A new show for the age of Harvey Weinstein and #metoo, this unique performance event lifts the lid on love & sex, beginnings & endings, and the passage of time.

lush beer and coffee, top notch theatre and fun. I've been a lot and ended up watching shows that I know nothing about, and enjoyed all of them!

User

Went to 'A Comedy Night that passes the Bechel Test' last night here and it was amazing !! Such a great night and so much talent

User

We are so lucky to have this theatre in our fair city. Use it, support it, enjoy it! It’s ours for as long as we look after it. Great season coming up - get on it !

User

Tremendous talent and a very friendly atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with lots of food for thought washed down with some very nice lager - fantastic!

User

The most welcoming theatre in Newcastle, if not the world! A brilliant space, to drink eat, and if you want to see some theatre too.

User

The basement will be sorely missed but the magic the makers of Alphabetti can only grow bigger and better. I can't wait for the first gig in their new abode. It's going to be amazing! Please guys keep us posted!

User

Such a great organisation and an important part of Newcastle's thriving art scene! Constantly brilliant programming with wide variety of stuff on for everyone.

User

Spent a great evening here last Saturday and had a very enjoyable and different theatre experience. I will definitely return to see other productions.

User

My favourite place. A home for great new theatre, emerging artists and generally canny folk. Deserves to go from strength to strength.

User

Lucky to catch CW productions first show at this excellent venue. Great venue, has an excellent fringe vibe. Good bar lined with books adds to the appeal. Eton Mess has turned into a good clowning show with a healthy serving of pithy irony. Splendid evening out!

User

Lovely venue. Travelled up from Whitby to see Saints of Arcadia perform an acoustic set (have reviewed that elsewhere). Located in the heart of Newcastle is a hidden gem, a term widely used here but trust me it's well deserved. Really friendly atmosphere...like having all your mates around to your living room but with a bar and a theatre attached (I have neither of these, the latter two I hasten to add). Love the fact that the friendly dog will mingle with all..no one likes a selective pooch. To all involved, please keep up the good work as you are a master of your craft🖒

User

Love Love Love the Alphabetti. Been loads of times now and it's always a great night out. Lovely cuppas and great shows.

User

User

Had a private party here, could not have been bettered, great space, very helpful friendly staff, terrific atmosphere.

User

Great venue, been in a few times as a punter and first time last night as a performer. Great vibe and atmosphere, has great 'underground' feel. Cheers Ali for helping me get set up and stuff.

User

Great little venue run by dedicated people, that puts on great events n shows that you might not get to see elsewhere. One of The toons little hidden gems, if you haven't been, what you waiting for-go check it out! Happy 1st Birthday Alphabetti! X

User

Fantastic venue for theatre fans. Quirky, friendly and puts on some excellent shows. Also make sure you try the rocky road as it's amazing!

User

An amazing night at Alphabetti Theatreonce again. Carole Wears, Ali, all the techs and front of house staff, you all rock. Eton Mess was a riot, we hugged ourselves with laughter. If you haven't been down yet google the shows, pick one and give it a go. Hmmingbird next from CaroleW productions and events, amazing theatre. We are so lucky to have this in our town. Dont ignore it.

User
