This week see's the return of our Pulled Pork Burger. Our homemade slow roasted pulled pork is served with a 100% beef burger and topped with cheese and fried onions. A meal for the hungry! Only £4.95.

Went this evening the staff were all very friendly and warm in manner. I asked if they did gravy the answer was sadly no, however as my order came up my very own personal gravy had been made! It was soooo good and sweet of Al. Plus the onion rings are just fantastic! Thanks guys.

We have visited this chippy many times now, the chips are always perfectly cooked and yum! Also a great choice of food on the menu. Lovely friendly staff too x

So we heard lots of good reviews about the homemade fishcakes and wanted to check them out. The wife and I ordered 2 each, they were huge.. 1 each was defiantly enough! We found them to be quite potato rich and a bit on the bland side, we ended up opening them up and putting in extra salt. However, on the positive side they were extremely fresh and you could clearly taste that. I mean how often do you see homemade food in a fish and chip shop?! Chips were lovely, full of crunchy bits, which our children love! The kids had battered sausages, the batter was crisp, light and flavourful, very impressed! Very little grease in all of the food, so really happy here! Portion size was fair and adequate.



The service was fantastic. Everyone who left seemed to leave with a smile on their face. "Enjoy! Have a lovely evening", every customer was told on their way out. Menu was clearly presented on giant TV screens. A great big mission statement from the new owners was on the wall as you walked in. Each and everyone was asked their name as they ordered their food to be called out when it was ready; a great way of them to show their personal side instead of being treated as a number.



Overall we will defiantly use again. We are looking forward to exploring the menu further. Currently a regular a Nobbie's on Newnham Avenue but am considering a switch after a single visit here. The fresh and friendly factor was a big thing for us.



Head on down, it's well worth a visit! 9/10

So lucky to have such a fab chippy in Bedford! Everything’s is great, not too oily like some, fluffy chips, perfectly cooked fish & the curry sauce (go spicy, life changing �) & mushy peas are the best!

Phoned and ordered on our way home. Was ready when we arrived. Beautiful fresh cooked fish and hot chips. Best in Bedford, we travelled here rather than two shops closer to home.

Lovely food excellent service defiantly would recommended the best fish and chips I've tasted in a long while .

I wasn't disappointed it was delicious and a good GF selection. The portion sizes where just right.

Had the gluten free battered sausage last night, ordered 2 not realising how huge they were but not wanting to waste anything I managed to eat the lot! They were amazing, something I've missed. Great to have a local fish & chip shop that has a gluten free option.

Great to have at last a great fish and chip shop in Bedford that gives a gluten free batter option. Tasted good but slightly disappointed with fish sizing compared to others v price. Chips were fantastic and spicy curry sauce excellent. The mild curry sauce was good too. Overall would definitely use again. 9/10.

Great quality food cooked to order. The fish is fresh and the fishcake is both tasty and incredibly generous in size. Always polite service with a smile, and ordering through the app is incredibly easy too. A fantastic fish and chip shop.

Bloody lovely coeliac friendly fish and chips! Very impressed as are my two daughters who have only had fish and chips once due to being diagnosed as coeliac at such a young age. Lovely that they are so clued up on cross contamination as well. Not a sore belly in sight and the girls licked their boxes!! We will definitely be back :-)

Best gluten free fish and chips I've had! Thank you for staying open and specifically setting up the gluten free fryer for us last night in amongst of us packing up and moving house, we appreciated it so much! And even better it was so tasty and emphasises why we should all support our local castle road businesses! �

Best fish and chip shop. Chips are lovely and the chicken burger is to die for! Real chicken breasts and lovely soft baps. Staff are all really friendly and happy to help :)

Always good quality and a good price....the cod is so succulent it just flakes off......the fish was so fresh I had to wait for him to catch it !!! ��

Friend bought my kids a sausage and chip kids meal each. Perfect portion sizes and sausage lovely but chips nor cooked! Very hard and almost raw still. Not sure if just a bad batch as rave reviews from everyone else.

Two visits, both early evening yet they didnt have pies, which includes this evening on a Saturday, gravy is made in the back and is basically bisto...£1.30 for the trouble! Chips arent bad, but aside from that, as a well travelled chippy enthusiast, very poor indeed!
