Alston Town Hall Events

The town hall is a focal point for the community, being a venue for many events including crafts fairs, local artists exhibitions, theatre productions and cinema screenings. The building is also home to the tourist information centre and library.

The venue is a valuable community resource for the Cumbrian town of Alston. Home to the 'Local Links' service offering extensive information of what's happening here and in the wider area for both visitors and residents, a library offering a diverse range of books and DVDs, internet access, a photocopying service and a gift / craft shop.
Events are varied including local art, craft and historical exhibitions, theatre productions, exercise classes, reading groups and much more. The hall and meeting room are available for private hire and previous events have included Christmas / birthday parties, exhibition darts, pantomimes and lectures / meetings.
