Alter Ego Magazine has been in the market since 2007. The roots of the magazine began in 2005, when Editor and Co-founder Nayrouz Abouzid, was managing another magazine named "Ego". Ego Magazine started as a politically aggressive publication that poked fun at the regional and global status quo. After meeting Palestinian entrepreneur, Khaled Makki, Nayrouz and Khaled decided to transform the once-called Ego magazine into an entertainment publication called: Alter Ego. Luckily it was very well received by the local and Regional market. Alter Ego Magazine uses entertainment news to reflect the deeper socio-political realities in the Arab world. By reviewing the 'Arts' we manage to document history as it rapidly unfolds.
