THE judging panel for the Great British High Street awards have announced that #Altrincham is officially the best high street in the land.

#NEWS The Old Market Tavern one of #Altrincham’s most prominent pubs, has been sold for a price of around £900,000 ahead of a possible conversion into a mixed-use or residential project.
The extensive building is listed and sits on Altrincham’s Old Market Place, opposite the Orange Tree pub and within a conservation area.

Hi Chris - Just thought I would send you a copy of a reply to a negative commeny on Alty Matters web page!! - Keep up the great work!!Astonishingly Superior Facebook Page - Video's are very good with average views of 1.3k and 2.6k for Chris' walkabouts - very interesting content telling viewers about what is going on in Alty and pointing out various shops and businesses and sometimes pointing out stuff in the town that need attention - Video presenters come across as very friendly folk proud about living in Altrincham and certainly not an embarrassment to the town!! - Page reflects lots of positive stuff going on in the area which is absolutely brilliant - Page just gets better it's all about promoting community spirit - something sadly lacking these days. Altrincham Matters are always asking for people to join the team so more people on board can only be a good thing and remember it is a voluntary web page done in team members spare time. Alty Matters rather than being an embarrassment is an absolute credit to the town and I don't even live in Altrincham!!

What a pile of shit just the same has Altrincham news & chat the other news pages going about nothing different on this page other then a guy walking around showing u the streets of Altrincham which is great if want a street view of the streets off Altrincham but other then that it’s pointless
