What a stunning restaurant with equally gorgeous food to match. Had lunch today which was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere relaxed. I will definitely be returning and would recommend Amaani to anyone looking for a new dining experience!

Went for my birthday with my husband, it is beautifully decorated, the staff are attentive and very pleasant. The food is gorgeous would defo recommend it. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for a lovely evening �

We visited on Tuesday for the opening night. The food was delicious and the staff are fantastic. We love Indian food and this is definitely at the top of our list in Durham city and surrounding areas!

We loved it.



The food selection was incredible with both of us being able to select a dish from the menu with ease. The menu was beautifully described, and accurately represented what we received.



The selection of drinks behind the bar was sensational, with a well stocked wine cellar complementing the amazing food.



The service was sensational with the family really caring about the business and ensuring we had the best evening possible.

We came here for dinner last night with friends and weren't disappointed. The place itself is beautifully decorated, the tables aren't crowded, the service is fabulous and the waiting staff very warm and welcoming.



The food was delicious, very well presented and excellent value for money.



With an extensive Menu to choose from and an inviting atmosphere I can see Amaani being our new favourite place!

Visited Amaani on Tuesday with friends for one of the opening nights , decor is stunning , food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming ! This was my first visit to Amaani (April 13th) and it won’t be my last. The food was excellent, the staff lovely and very helpful. It’s fair to say that this is one of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had. The chicken tikka makhoni and the Goan chicken are highly recommended. I used to come here when it was The Pump House, it was a lovely restaurant then and I’m delighted that it’s lost none of its charm.

This place never lets you down!! It is one of the few restaurants that all curries don’t resemble each other, if you haven’t visited this restaurant yet then you must!!! The quality of the food the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff along with there professionalism is second to none,

This place is the best Indian restaurant in Durham. Food and service is impeccable, the setting is beautiful and the attention to detail is second to none. It's definitely a place to take time out to visit. ����

The restaurant is beautiful, the grounds are lovely and as soon as you walk in you can see how welcoming and fresh it is. The decor is gorgeous and it felt like a real treat being there. The food was fantastic, it all tasted great. The naan bread was very fresh and the chicken and lamb dishes superb. We will definitely go back, we will take our family as it’s a lovely place to go either for a quiet meal or a special occasion.

The restaurant is beautiful and the walk up to it is very welcoming as was inside , the food was outstanding while the staff were very attentive making the first visit here an enjoyable one , I am so fortunate to have this new hidden gem within walking distance from my home it will be one of many visits im sure

Our first experience of Amanni this evening, and certainly won't be our last. We have not had such delicious and well flavoured food from any Indian restaurant, in the Durham area. All of the food was exceptional the staff were friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Imran, who greeted us and took our order was first class in his customer service. The restaurant environment is contemporary and decorated to a high standard, well worth a visit and quickly, before every one else finds out about it.

Our 3rd time here and once again the food was outstanding.Fresh,good quality food with great service,by far the best Indian food in Durham,can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I visited tonight as a last minute decision. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere great. We had a wonderful time and I loved receiving an unexpected rose � at the end of our meal-what a lovely touch! The food was excellent and the staff so very friendly. I have no doubt that we’ll return very soon!

I have just got home from a wonderful evening at this gorgeous new restaurant. The food was exquisite, the staff were attentive and friendly and the setting and decor were perfect!!
