What a wonderful evening we had Fabulous food , great atmosphere and made very welcome . There’s nothing better than a family run restaurant with its own individual brand . Really welcoming friendly staff . Would recommend Amalfi anytime.

We visit here every Sunday ... the place is just the best ... along with all the friendly staff that make you feel so welcome every time you visit. The food is amazing and every dish both me and my family have had has been freshly prepared and always tastes first class... would definately recommend a visit as you would not be disappointed ��

We love this place. Strangly very quiet even for 6.00pm on a Monday night. Only one table in when we arrived and only one when we left at 8.00pm. Two tables in two hours. Unusual? Food was, as always, delicious. Could not fault it. The service however lacked it's usual attentiveness. Two young members of staff not as interested, as opposed to, we think her name is Katrina, usually working solo.

Our 1st time at amalfi, always meant to go but ended up elsewhere, so for our 1st wedding anniversary we decided to try it.

First of all the room was light and airy, although it was close outside the velux windows kept it nice and cool. Service was excellent but tip if your getting the breadsticks starter it's amazing but got balsamic vinegar all down my front lol starter excellent main course was the fillet steak on ciabatta bread with pate absolutely amazing! Had a dessert but was just being a pig lol even gave us a free shot for our wedding anniversary. all in all we are a darwen couple and if you have never tried there we strongly recommend you do. Not the cheapest but certainly well priced for the quality and I never go out for an ok meal. We will definitely be going back again next time with the kids. 5 stars all the way cheers Rob and Michelle kearney.

Lovely food and fantastic service, we went tonight for a small meal for my son's birthday. He was allowed to make his own pizza and given a free slice of chocolate fudge cake for pudding � all the staff were friendly and attentive, we had a great time!

I had a lovely family meal here for my birthday. Service was excellent and the food was perfection. The staff are pleasant and nothing is to much trouble. Yes it's not big but it's cosy and very friendly.

Everyone enjoyed their food, prompt and friendly service and the fact that kids eat for £1 was an added bonus

Came two weeks ago with my two friends, waitress was really lovely. Was a quiet night the girl did a brilliant job taking our orders, knew what she was doing and talking about. We all ordered signature pastas and they where all worth the money, so much value and very tasty. Would recommend, sat here again with partner and my two friends. Recommended for any occasion! �

Been 5 or 6 times over the past 2 years always had a great meal and good friendly service even when the place is full.

Amazing food and service once again. I have been coming here regularly since it opened and I honestly can’t fault it. Friendly staff and nice relaxed environment. My daughter absolutely loves making her own Pizza and I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Katrina always remembers our names and has a smile on her face. 5 Stars

But we were cold and there was not a lot of room around the table, the waitress had to keep squeezing past us to see to other clients. The tables all seemed very close to each other, this is not good if you are wanting a quiet meal.

My steak was good but £1.50 for a circle of garlic and herb butter! hubbies pasta was not so good.

Been a few times..never had a problem before but i had the meatball pasta lastnight...tasted 2 meatballs which were nice had a taste of the 3rd meatball and it tasted so different from the other 2 plus it fell 2 pieces....but wont stop me going back.....the staff were nice offered me some pudding to take home but i decline it

Went lastnight for my friends birthday meal, waited 45 minutes for starters & then came and my bread was rock solid, also all our starters didn’t came at same time so I’d eaten mine by time my friends came, my friends chips not cooked. Main comes I asked for steak well done it was practically still bleeding and very very fatty. Again all Mains not out at same time, when the man asked how our food was and I told him about it he just said ‘ok no worries’ and walked of very rude! Only good thing was the gin! Although had to wait 15 mins just to order a drink let alone get it. On the up side the lady who appeared to be manager was lovely & apologetic at end. Will not be returning again �

Used to love it here but now seems like supermarket quality, cheap food. The cheese garlic bread was hard and dry. One of the chicken pasta dishes was like eating ready cooked Bernard Matthews chicken pieces. I ordered a chicken and pasta dish which was supposed to come in a parmesan breadcrumb. It was completely inedible. Clearly been frozen for God only knows how long, terribly over cooked and not a hint of flavour. Tasteless and tough as old boots. The pasta sauce (supposed to be pesto) tasted like chopped tomato juice. Left over half and the waiter never even asked how it was. Just took the plate and left. I don't blame him, I'd be embarrassed too.

Maybe we just chose a bad cocktail, but the lemonade one we ordered was like something my friends might have poured me when I was 15. Cheap lemonade and enough ice to sink the Titanic.

What a disappointment! Left absolutely starving and over half a tonne lighter.

Staff were nice and polite though.

Not sure what all the 5*s are about but I certainly won't be returning.

Went last night for friends birthday, ordered garlic mushrooms too start and they tasted awful was coated in copious amount of coriander .. then ordered a pizza of which I refused to eat as it tasted like a frozen Aldi £1 pizza complained to (I think) the owner and he agreed it was under cooked and my partner questioned as to why the pizza base was cross crossed in the bottom on what he said was a freshly made base to which he didn’t reply .. our friends were served the wrong meal and then had to wait for the correct one for half an hour of which he brought one ligand asked them to share it whilst the other arrived in 5 mins (came out 15 min later) meaning she got her main 45 mins after the first mains arrived .. cocktails nice but took ages to come after ordering.. my main and the two wrong orders were removed from the bill which was good but other than that would not return again
