Went yesterday with my partner and son as an early valentines meal . We know the owners of this restaurant and there food is absoulty fabulous. The service was great and the staff are really friendly

We had s beautiful meal here on Christmas Eve. We had 15 family members there and not one person had a complaint at all. Food was beautiful, service was fab and was not rushed at all. We have been eating out as a family for over 12 years and although we have had some beautiful meals something has always gone wrong with order or payment. Not here so we will definitely be back. Visited this restaurant tonight for the first time and it was absolutely beautiful! We received complimentary bread, olives and bruschetta which were all lovely! The staff were very friendly, and all of our food was to a very high standard! Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be returning.

Stopped here on way home from work tonight as traffic reports really bad for Newcastle roads. Delicious food, great value, friendly service. Have been to another restaurant nearby and spotted Amalfi on way past. Were looking for cheap and cheerful, happy hour still on here, portions were huge, service quick, will definitely go back.

So glad we took friends advice and visited this lovely restaurant, everyone was so friendly and welcoming the chef even turned up the heating for us incase we were feeling chilly. The food was fantastic, we tried the new tagliatelle and fig starter and could have ate more it was so delicious but then we wouldn't have had room for our main course which was definitely worth saving room for. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys 5* food

Me my partner and even my family frequent the Amalfi as the food is in a league of its own. Friendly service, tentative staff and a cosy relaxed atmosphere. Love it.

Me and my boyfriend have been coming here often and always the food is superb. A few months ago however we had bad service and left a review saying this, we were contacted by the owner straight away who apologised and dealt with the matter immediately. It really shows how much everyone at Amalfis cares about their customers and after being back we can both say everything was back to being superb in all areas. It's so nice to see a genuine owner and staff who really care about their diners. Amalfis is the best Italian restaurant for miles around and we will always be reccomending them now

I can't rate this restaurant more highly, the food is just amazing and the staff are the most friendly you could ever wish to meet.

Me and my wife have tried many Italian restaurants over the years and I can honestly say none come close to Amalfi, even our now 20month old little boy loves the food (as well as leaving a mess for the staff to clean up) haha

Had my mams 70th birthday meal here on Friday night. 20 people, no pre ordering & all starters, mains, drinks, served perfectly, no issues! Amazing food, staff & service! Wonderful place - thank you!!!

Been tonight to celebrate my dads 70th and as always amazing food and amazing service! Love coming here the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming . My 6 yr old daughter loves it too her favourite being the garlic bread and chicken pasta.
