Two of our students, Daisy Cathan & Charlotte Upton are appearing in the A Midsummer Night's Dream with the Chelmsford Ballet Company. A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our pupils and students who took their exams in December. We have just received our results and they are simply amazing! A huge percentage gained distinction in their exams and we couldn't be prouder; all that hard work and practice paid off - well done everyone! xxx

Onesie update: they have now been delivered and are ready for collection from the studio! The studio will be open for you to collect your order from 3pm-5pm this afternoon and 9am-11am tomorrow morning 🙂 I will be there to hand the onesies out! Thank you. Rebecca x

Oh my goodness - how lucky am I? Feeling very humbled by all the presents I have received over this week. Thank you so much to everyone, such a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated. WOW! I am very proud of all the students who have been competing in Performers Festival over the last few weekends. As an Academy we have collected 17 Gold Medals, 15 Silver Medals and 13 Bronze Medals!!!! You all should be very proud of yourselves, you are waving the ARAD banner very high! Well Done Everyone!xx

Proud principal alert! Oh my goodness, what a weekend our students have had - beyond proud is an understatement. We had no fewer than 17 girls attend the South East IDTA TheatreJazz and Tap Awards on Sunday. Tap in the morning saw 8 out of our 9 entries reach the finals with Maddison Lawrence being awarded 3rd place in the grades class. Tegan Mason won the Performers class with Lucy Green being awarded 3rd place. In the afternoon we had 7 out of 12 girls go through to th...e finals of the TheatreJazz; Megan Batchelor won the grades class with Scarlett Lowe gaining 2nd and Eleanor Mayo being awarded the Endeavour Award. We also had a busy weekend at the festivals with every entry attending gaining either a gold or silver medal (7 golds and 3 silvers). So proud of the achievements that all our students are experiencing. Team ARAD is certainly flying the flag high showing what is possible with hard work, dedication and belief 💖💖💖💖💖

Such a busy weekend for the Academy! We were so excited to welcome Academy friend, Jamal Crawford, to the studios on Sunday to deliver some high energy musical theatre workshops. Jamal is currently playing Tyrone in the tour of Fame and took time out from his performing to come down and put our students through their paces. Also, some of our students were competing at the Performers Festival and secured 4 Golds, 3 Silvers and 4 Bronzes in some very big and competitive classes. Well done everyone, we are super proud of you all! Keep up the good work and let's see what we can achieve next weekend 💖💖💖

Wow - what a fantastic trip last night to see our very own Calypso Bailey in School of Rock! Such an amazing show with high energy all the way through. We were lucky enough to have a group photo taken by the stage with Calypso after the show (I am hoping I will get a copy in the next day or two). We also met Jake Sharpe (Dewey Finn) after the show who was absolutely fantastic and posed for photos with everyone. If you haven't seen it yet I would thoroughly recommend it - a great night! xx

Our festival girls had an incredibly busy and very successful half term participating at the Orpington Dance Festival. I am incredibly proud to say that the girls walked away with 2 golds, 2 silvers and 4 bronzes amongst very tough competition. We had 5 entries qualify for the All England Regional Finals and many girls were invited to perform at the Premier awards held at the end of the competition. A special mention goes to Cerys Batchelor, who won runner up in the Junior Tap section of the Premier Awards and was awarded a trophy and bursary to go towards her training - well done everyone, we are all incredibly proud of you! 💖💖

Went to watch my son Max in tonight's show - never been to anything like this before - absolutely loved every minute of it!! Amazing show, they were all so talented! Was so proud of Max. Thank you for an amazing night x

The time and effort the staff put into teaching the students is immeasurable - really happy with Ava's progress brilliant dance academy

Peyton adores her classes !! All staff are so friendly and approachable!! Would defiantly recommend Amanda Restell Academy :)

My two daughters love all their different classes and their teachers. They have made lovely friends, and enjoy taking part in shows and festivals . I also love the adult ballet class. Can't wish for a better dance school.

My eldest daughter has been coming for 10 years and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.....and my other 2 daughters are following in her footsteps....A wonderful place for children to learn to dance and make friends...

Fantastic show really enjoyed it well done to all amazing :) I'm glad my daughter was a part of it xx

Fabulous show ! Can't believe how professional the whole thing is ! Amazing choreography - costumes - lighting and the dancers ( all ages ) were amazing ! Phoebe is loving every minute - what a fabulous experience for her to be part of X
