Amanda Rose Photo

Amanda Rose is an acclaimed freelance photographer of live concerts, events, food, headshots and more. Based in London she has been capturing live acts at top venues since 1993, turning professional in 1996. Resident photographer at both London's Brixton Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire for almost 20 years, she also previously worked for a season at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes. In addition to working at London's top 2 music venues, Amanda includes in her list of clients stage construction, lighting design and special effects companies. Amanda's photographs have been reproduced worldwide in books, numerous newspapers and magazines including Rolling Stone, Vogue, GQ, Grazia, The Guardian, Daily Express, Telegraph, Daily Star, Daily Mail, NME, Time Out, OK! , Front magazine and Pollstar. Her photographs are hanging in the Hard Rock Cafe and been presented to Duran Duran, The Sex Pistols, The Specials, Phoenix, The Pixies, The Prodigy, Scissor Sisters, Toploader and many more. Featured on DVD covers for the Queens of the Stoneage and Dan Reed, compact disc artwork for the Chemical Brothers, SAS Band, Dan Reed and Then Jerico. Amanda's photograph was also used for limited edition posters for the Stereophonics. Two photographs were used in a Charlotte Church calendar. The Chemical Bros photograph also featured in Terence Conran's coffee table book on London. She has also photographed top television actors for Soap Life magazine, as well as an assignment to photograph then Chancellor Gordon Brown for the television show ‘This Morning'. Amanda worked as Stills photographer on the Britpack Film Company's debut film, 'Inbetweeners' and Spinal Tap's short film for iTunes digital download. Amanda has also designed CD artwork for John Thayer, CD /DVD covers and Poster artwork for Dan Reed and co-designed the Zero One logo. In addition to this, Amanda has retouched photographs for Christies, Sotheby's, Grosvenor House Antiques Fair and numerous Fine Art dealers and collectors, Chris Clunn, Loop and Inner Sanctum.
