Working at A Mano is a lot like plate spinning, we offer great food from breakfast right through until dinner – without stopping. As our name suggests (A Mano, in Italian, means by hand) we are big on local, artisan and handmade food and drink. From our pizza dough and our burgers to our craft beer and home-roasted coffee. The food with serve is worth shouting about – where possible we use local ingredients that we’ve searched long and hard for. Whether you’re dining with us ...inside or out, or if you’ve got something from our kitchen to takeaway, you can expect to find a warm welcome, great service and tasty, freshly prepared dishes. Our Junior Sous Chef’s must:
• Have a proven history of delivering outstanding dishes in a time pressured environment.
• Have 1 or more years’ experience in a similar role.
• Have exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Be keen on the development and management of a team.
• Make sure that our standard of service remains high at all times, ensure your section is running smoothly, keep the atmosphere just right in the kitchen and work as a team to deliver fantastic fresh dishes throughout the day.
• Be eligible to work full time in the UK.
In return, we will provide fantastic training allowing you to excel in your role with the view to progress within the company and develop your career. Other benefits include staff discounts, meals and drinks, 28 days holiday entitlement, a share of the service charge as well as monthly and yearly incentives. Our first visit to this restaurant was a great experience - the atmosphere, service and decor all contributed to a lovely evening, but the star of the show was definitely the amazing food. I chose my main course from the day's specials on the blackboard: squid ink pasta with prawns, clams and mussels - delicious! All four of us managed to cram in 3 courses and two of us rounded it all off with excellent freshly-made Irish coffees. We will definitely be back for more soon!

Lovely restaurant and great atmosphere. Great Italian and British fusion. Went there for lunch and I enjoyed every minute. Very welcoming staff: the service is top-notch. The food is fresh and the portions are generous. It is worth every penny. Highly recommended. We will be back!
