Many applications from cosmetic skincare to pain relief rely on effective and targeted dermal and transdermal delivery of an active. Current techniques such as microneedles and electrically powered devices have severe handicaps in terms of cost and side-effects. We innovatively combine several materials and chemistry based delivery mechanisms into one easy-to-use system that can be manufactured with current low-cost dosage form fabrication techniques. The method also enables sensitive actives to be stabilised for long shelf life and the released on-demand by the user. We have a patent pending and strong interest from route to market partners. We are seeking seed funding to progress the current prototyping phase.
