Starting to think about uniforms and PE Kits this weekend. Back to school and college for our teenagers. Being a mum of two teenage boys and also a nutritionist/health advisor at Amaranth I am well aware of some of the challenges these years bring (this photo is of my boys with their BFFs on hols)

Refuel after a great Saturday running session with @fannysrealfood . Life has been a bit hectic lately so a bit of ashwagandha to help rebalance after training and nourish the adrenals and support the stress response is much needed. Children are welcome in Amaranth in the school holidays. We have three healthy plates to colour and the lovely people @pulsinandbeond have provided delicious fruity oat bars for all of the children who join in the activity. Don’t forgot that Bramhall also has a play area in the centre of the village square. You can enjoy a lovely coffee or lunch from @plumcake_bramhall whilst your children play. The first of a few leaving do’s for Eleanor before she heads off on her big adventure to Australia. We are going to miss her so much. Four years ago Eleanor arrived in the shop as a 15 year old High School Student. We have had so many laughs and funny moments, it will be so quiet without her 😔 Still three weeks until Eleanor’s last day with us so she will be in the shop on Fridays and some Saturdays. Might be best not to speak to her until after lunchtime as she has a few leaving do’s planned. Congratulations to Gemma Day @gemmadayhealth winning her match for playing for Cheshire yesterday in the Eastbourne Over 35 County Championships. Continuing the success from last year when the team won the group. As well as being a brilliant tennis player, Gemma is a member of the Amaranth nutrition team. Entering her final year as a nutrition student @collegeofnaturopathicmedicine there is not a lot Gemma doesn’t know about nutrition. You will find her on the shop floor on... Thursdays and Saturdays. Gemma is passionate about nutrition and will help you with advice whatever your health concerns. In her spare time (!) between tennis, studying and Amaranth, Gemma is mum to three gorgeous young children Max, Mason and a Summer. When you find out that you have received more votes than John Lewis and Boots for Best High Street Retailer in the International Beauty Awards 😁😁🍾🍾🍾🍾. Went into this amazing little gem of a shop this weekend to purchase some vitamins. The lady we spoke to (Jo) was highly knowledgeable and very interesting, gave us all the pros and cons to each product that we were interested in without being pushy and then left us to make our choices which of course we did! A lovely shop with all sorts of lovely healthy products and the added bonus of Fit Flops too! We will be back, thank you for a lovely experience Phil and Cheryl xx

Went in for facial today. The treatment room was amazing hidden sanctuary above the shop. I did not expect such a nice space �

Claire was lovely and professional. I went in for facial which was very relaxing. I left with a glowing smooth face. Really happy with the result and highly recommended.

Visited yesterday and met with Jo who was lovely and gave me lots of advice and information, would definitely recommend this shop and their lovely staff too x

Recently had bowen therapy with Sue, she is super and really sorted out my back. Also had reflexology with jayne and gorgeous dr houschka facial with liz.all are so professional and friendly,lovely atmoshere when youwalk inthe shop.

I want to recommend Sue Bowden who works at Amaranth in. Sue offers a treatment called Bowen Technique which until three weeks ago I hadn't heard of, I've now had 3 sessions with Sue and think it's brilliant.

So I had a fall last summer and damaged ligaments in my foot, I had physio on the foot and it is now good again however I've been having pain in my hip and was going to go and see the doctor as it was getting quite bad.

I saw a taster session of Bowen Technique on offer at Amaranth and thought I would give it a go, today was my third treatment with Sue and I can honestly say it feels so much better, I haven't been having my usual pain at all and am so pleased. Sue also advised that my body was in need of some alignment as the other side was compensating for the injury, the treatment is non invasive but effective and I honestly recommend it to anyone that has pain and wants an alternative to taking lots of medication. Sue is really lovely, makes you feel relaxed and talks you through what she is doing and why. I highly recommend a visit Xx

I visited your shop before a recent holiday as I felt very anxious about flying. I spoke with Jo who gave me fantastic advice and reassurance. I purchased a couple of calming remedies (tablets and pastilles) which helped myself and my daughter during the flights. Thank you so much Jo xx

The treatment took place in a relaxed, tranquil setting by Claire who is so lovely and very knowledgable.
